The room was cheap, and good enough for one night as we only did a stopover on the way to cusco. The location was good, walking distance to all the restaurants. Breakfast was ok but very basic There wasn't any hot water in the shower and shower pressure was not good The hotel was not well insulated, it was cold in the room with no heating, and there was a lot of traffic noise. The room was carpetted, but there was a wet patch directly outside the bathroom door on the carpet. The staff said there was no day-time bus to cusco, but i think that was because they really wanted us to book a tour with them. Some of the room had mould on the wall just outside the bathroom, with the paint peeling off it.
For the price it was okay. The guest house is very dated- not what we expected. However once we got over this we recognized the room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom had hot water also. The location was very good Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Good location. We stayed here in January 2020 as part of our Peru Hop, looking back I would have done a home stay in Lake Titicaca as opposed to staying in the city.
Me and my friend stayed here for 2 nights and it was the most affordable, and most comfortable stay so far on our trip. The location is very central, close to all the restaurants, shopping and sites to see. They offer great tours that can be arranged prior to or upon arrival. We did a $16 Uros and taquilles full day tour that includes lunch, pick up and drop off. It was a great experience. The staff was very friendly, and helpful especially Elly thank you! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting puno for a long or short visit. We slept so well here!
Excellent hotel all clean and beautiful, the ideal location, very close to a beautiful 100% recommended experience, family outing and we are all very satisfied with the hotel very friendly and attentive staff.
Very nice and helpful staff and ok conditions for a short stay. The room was a bit cold but there were good blankets to keep warm. They let me check in almost at 5.00 am. I am very pleased about this fact.
Perfectly located hotel, with great amenities and breakfast! The staff and receptionist were super helpful and very understanding. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the town of Puno!
I have stayed in Suites Antonio for 3 nights, initially booking only for one night (as I wasn’t sure what to expect) & then extending for two more nights. Services are very good for the price you pay, plenty of fresh fruit for breakfast, good pressure & lots of hot water in the shower, good location, kitchen where you can store your food or even cook your dinner! I had asked for quiet room and that’s what I got. There is no elevator but the staff helped me to the 3rd floor with my luggage. Since I had bad head cold I immediately asked for heater since I knew that it could get cold at night. I got one straight away, but because it was making little bit too much noice at night I asked for the oil radiator the next morning and got it. I had nice, relaxed & warm stay. Special thank you for Jimena and Jean Paul for all their help: organizing my trips, dinner recommendations. They even let me stay one extra hour free of charge in the confort of my room while I was waiting for taxi to the airport. One recommendation: in similar hotel in Cusco they provided hot water bottles with funny covers in each bed which then clients can refill themselves with warm water for the night. With the minimum investment I think that would be great idea that guests would really like! Thank you again!…
We stayed in for a couple of nights. For the price, we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the great shower! The staff were also very friendly and it's in a great location. The breakfast was also very nice. The only downside was some if the street noise and the lack if really black out curtains. Nothing earplugs and an eye mask can't sort. We'd definitely recommend staying here!
We arrived hours ahead of the check-in time and were allowed to have our room, which can’t be more helpful after an overnight bus ride. We booked for one night and scheduled to leave early before the breakfast hours the next day. They were kind enough allowing us to have the breakfast on the day of arrival instead. Simple rooms but spacious and with thick blankets. Hot and strong showers. Heater and hair dryer on request. My husband had problems with the high altitude in the middle of the night. Thanks to the 24-hr front desk and was given the oxygen mask to relieve the symptoms! Our room is the first one from the entrance and across the breakfast hall so it gets a bit noisy but still acceptable. Design problems with the shower cubicle that water leaks out to the floor of the bathroom.…
