A great value 6 story (walk up!) propery in a central location. Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast on the 6th. with city and lake views. Getting a little tired in the electrical department, but honest over all. Caution, on evey floor there's a room without external window (window into internal space). Good wifi and hot water :-)

The location is perfect, right in the center of the city, close to all touristic activity. My room (queen bed and private bathroom) was a bit small but well maintained and clean. The bathroom was clean too. Electric radiator provided, although the cable was not long enough to allow it to be placed in an efficient location (I basically had... More

I booked this room because high rate in this site. Hotel's location was really good! I had problem with high altitude, and I stayed a hotel far away from center in Cuzco, so I knew it's essential to stay middle of everything. Staff were nice but only one receptionist spoke English (who was very helpful, tough). I booked a tour... More

A small family hotel full with colourful and weird objects, which creates a uniquely crazy and quirky atmosphere. Or it might just be the altitude. The hotel s clean and welcoming offering cocoa tea or hot water when you arrive and rooms are off average size. Location is near the centre of puno close to the 24hr supermarket and close... More

We stayed at Pukara during our 2 day Puno stay and we would always go back. It was - all in all - the best hotel for the best value, we stayed in in all of Peru. The hotel is very centrally located near all the restaurants and shops. It offers beautifully designed rooms and clean bathrooms with hot shower.... More

We stayed at this hotel twice, on the way into Peru and on the way out. The first room we had was small but cosy , although the only window was 'out' in the common area/hall way the second time we stayed the room was large (it was on the street front). The bathrooms are ok, clean just small. Staff... More

This is a lovely little boutique hotel, close to the town centre, a little bit noisy but that depends where your bedroom is. Hot showers and heaters in the room, and a lovely sun room on the top floor for breakfast and other meals. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, and even though we were only staying for one... We spent 2 nights in this hotel. Both me and my husband got sick in Puno, and so we spend one full day in a hotel room at which point we realized that a comfort of hotel room becomes important if something like this happens. We were actually pretty lucky to be in that hotel. The rooms were quit nice... More
