Perfect tourist place for a one night stay in Puno. Location is just simply great. In the middle of the walking street and all restaurants are just around the corner. Friendly and very clean with good breakfast. Just as everywhere in South America, the coffee 'sucks' :-) Would definitely recommend !

We stayed in many Tierra Viva Hotels while we traveled throughout Peru. We stayed at Puno Plaza for 3 nights before and after our homestay at the Uros Island. This is a great hotel close to restaurants and the main square. The staff here was so helpful and friendly even arranging our bus ticket to Copacabana and our tour to the...

Puno is classically a jump off point for Lake Titicaca. This hotel is well located, Lima Street with its abundance of restaurants is 3 mins walk away. Hotel is good value for money. Our room overlooked a street so could be a bit noisy on occasions, not so bad when windows shut.

This hotel itself is very good from a location perspective. Friendly staff and just a block away from both main squares. The only main issue is you do not get any rest or sleep due to a nearby night club. I am actually writing this review right now at 2:23 am as both my partner and I are unable to...

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Location is ideal one block from all the restaurants and main square. We did experience several problems: the toilet was leaking from the flush knob continuously which caused a puddle on the floor of the bathroom. When we informed reception, instead of fixing the leak or moving our room, they...

Thank god there's a lift. The room was spacious and there're even delicious chocolates on the bed. Yet the hairdryer was so noisy and not functioning well. Best breakfast served very early. Location is good. Recommended.

A modest hotel in a central location, in need of updating but clean. We were OK with that and that's what we were expecting. What we were not expecting, especially having asked for a quiet room was to be given a room next to a dance venue where the music went on until 3.00 am and kept us awake, giving...

We arrived late by bus from Arequipa and stayed for 2 night at the Tierra Viva in Puno. We were short of breath, Puno is 4,000 m high. Bottled oxygen was supplied by the hotel super friendly staff at any time in the night, but only for 15 minutes at a time. Our oxygen saturations had dropped to 76% and...

The hotel was in a great location. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was very good. The value was great. We were able to walk to the pier at lake Titicaca.

Puno is an necessary evil if you want to go to Lake Titicaca. That being said I really couldn't find any interesting hotel choice in the moderate price range so chose this establishment. The hotel is right in the downtown so easy access for anything in Puno. It is clean and well run with friendly staff, but you definitely get...
