Our overnight visit to Isla Suasi was an oasis in an otherwise busy two week itinerary, and the chance to relax overlooking the beauty of the island and Lake Titicaca was extremely welcome. The transfer from Puno by boat, visiting Uros and Taquile en route was smooth and enjoyable with an extremely knowledgeable guide in Maria de los Angeles. Met...

We really enjoyed our stay on Suasi Island. It was the last stop on our very quick Peru family vacation. We really enjoyed the three hour boat ride to the island, and our tour made two stops to tour Uros Island and one other island. Susai Island is beautiful in May. So many flowers in bloom - it was gorgeous....

This is an extraordinary place! We stayed for two nights and spent the whole time just delighted by the beauty of the gardens, the stunning views, the generous meals, helpful service, and most of all the unexpected upgrade to the two-bedroom cottage on the lake shore. The walk up and down from the main lodge never failed to leave us...

The Casa Andina Private Collection at Suasi Island is a very unique place to stay. This can be both a good and bad thing. First off, it is not an easy place to get to. Transportation is limited and requires a water crossing. This can be a 2.5 hour crossing by a substantial boat complete with indoor seating and even...

My husband and I just returned from a 21 day getaway to Ecuador and Peru! We finished our trip at Casa Andina Isla Suasi, and to top it off we felt like celebrities because we were the only guests at this amazing hotel. We had the entire island and resort all to ourselves. It was a wonderful way to end...

The service was excellent, we were taken care of at all times. Staff and tour guides were very friendly! We were only there for a night in the first week of January and got barely any rain. The island view is amazing as well as the vicunas and alpacas wandering, they made our stay unforgettable!

Suasi Island, located on Lake Titicaca is a beautiful private island. There are many trails to hike on this small island. The rooms are very comfortable. We stayed in September and it got cool in the evenings. While one was at dinner, the hotel staff would start the stoves in your room and put a heated water bottle in your...

What a beautiful place...and the best part? We were the only guests!! The island is great for relaxing, hiking, and canoeing. The lake views were outstanding and there were plenty of private coves we could reach by canoe, where we explored, relaxed in the sun, and bird watched. The staff was very attentive and accommodating and the rooms were very...

Browsing through other guest's reviews, it seems that the vast majority of the overwhelmingly good reviews were made during the dry season (April to Mid December). This may explain why our stay during the wet season (24-25 Dec. 2011) was not so good. We stayed at Suasi Island for Christmas with our two kids and were looking forward to the...
