I am the owner and manager of a tour company. I recently brought a group to Isla Suasi and can't say enough about how fabulous the experience was. From the welcoming BBQ to star gazing over Lake Titicaca, everything was perfection. En route we enjoyed a cuturally-rich visit to Taquile Island. Our guide Maria de Los Angeles made our visit...

We´ve just had a very relaxing 2 nights at this hotel - very tranquil, picturesque & relaxing after the hustle & bustle of other places visited in Peru BUT it´s very expensive (we paid GBP900) and they could do alot more e.g. we said we wanted to use the 2 kayaks on our 1 full day there - only to...

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your experience on Trip Advisor´s website and for choosing Casa Andina as part of your trip in Peru. We very much regret you could not use the kayaks during your stay with us. We appreciate the time you set aside to point out those issues that might need much more attention from our part....

This hotel is in a unbelievable location. Perched on a private island in Lake Titicaca overlooking a shallow cove ... Sunrise and Sunsets are out of this world. We had a short stay here and everything from the time we were picked up on their private boat in Puno all the way to when we left was remarkable. We had...

Extremely beautiful grounds. Food is very good. Staff is very friendly and our main guide was very knowledgeable of the entire island and the rich traditions of the area and its people. A great place to relax and acclimate to the mountain altitude, although the sunset hike to the highest point in the island can be taxing. If you are...

The island is one of those places that would still get 5 stars if the accommodation was a hut. The island is stunning and the gardens surrounding the hotel are packed full of South African and Chilean (amongst others) flowers - definitely more Med. than Andes. Rooms are good and comfy and we were lucky enough to get a balcony...

Dear Guest, Thank you for giving us the opportunity to know your impressions regarding your experience in Suasi Island. We should mention that not all our rooms have balcony and that assignment depends on hotel availability. We are glad to know you enjoyed your room. Please have no doubt that your suggestions will be definitely taken into account on future...

I had just finished hiking the Inka trail and was a bit worn. My two night stay on Suasi was exactly what I needed to recover. It is the quietest and one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. The fellow travellers I met were an interesting group from all over the world and we engaged in some...

We stayed here for a night after flying into Juliaca and staying a night in Puno (which was probably one of our least favorite places on the entire trip). As another reviewer said, the trip to Uros is a bit commercial and contrived, however, I don't doubt the people living on the Uros Islands need the money, and regardless we...

We stayed here for two nights at the end of our trip through Peru and it was the perfect place to wind down and relax after two weeks of activity. As I mentioned in my review of the sister property in Puno, the boat ride over to Suasi can use improvement. The stops in the Uros floating islands and on...

The staff will do everything to make your stay perfect-light wood burning stoves in your room, prepare breakfast to your specification, arrange a lunch BBQ, have drinks on tap and so on. We had a disaster because of a strike on the road between Puno and Cusco and Christian the manager spent all day sourcing a propellor aircraft for us...
