Aside from the fact that the ability of some staff members to speak English is limited, it was a very pleasant stay. Altitude of 3800 metres above sea level is rough, but oxygen is prepated near the reception free of charge should you display some sympthoms and need assistance. Hotel itself is modern, staff attentive and restaurant is good. In one of...

We were here for two nights then one night after our stay on Lake Titicacca. Our first room 306 was small but welcoming. really like the wooden furniture. The bed was like sleeping on a rock. In fact my sides were sore for two days after because of the bed. Shower was huge and great water pressure. Room was clean...

LOCATION: Located a block away from the central Plaza, a stroll away from the Lake. So you are close to everything in town, without having lake view. Despite the location, it is still pretty quiet at night. PREMISES: The building itself is not new, but everything is well kept. Still, you can't help to notice its age - it's more...

Las time I was in Puno decied to stay at this hotel. Is near the Plaza so everything like shops, banks, etc. The rooms are nice and confortable, bathroom had a bathtub fully working. Breakfast is included and you have plenty of options to choose from. And the rate per night is not bad. I recommend this hotel.

This hotel is used mostly by large tour groups. Had we known, we would have selected another option. So many guests that were rude that it detracted from the positives. We arrived at 6:00am (luxury bus from Cusco to Puno) and didn't expect our room to be ready, but wanted to eat breakfast. We tried to get them to let...

We stayed here as part of Gate 1 Tours. The hotel is one block away from the main square with many places to eat. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty. Wifi could have been better but we found this to be a problem at all hotels in Peru. Since this is probably the highest...

This hotel is just off of the square by 1/2 block. We stayed here part of a Gate1 Tour. There is a four-block long shopping avenue just off of the plaza. At the end of the shopping avenue, to the right is another plaza. We found the hotel to be charming and delightful. We upgraded to the spa room, Room...

The Royal Inn Hotel is centrally located in Puno, Peru. The best bars and restaurants are within an easy walk. The rooms were pleasant and quiet at night. The bathroom was very nice with lovely tile and woodwork throughout. The restaurant offers a nice atmosphere for breakfast and I'm sure it was equally nice for dinner.

We joined Gate1 Travel tour and stayed in this hotel on September for two nights in Room 212. The hotel décor was old style which we didn't care for it. The room was clean and that's was the main thing. There was some kind of festival celebrating going on during the weekend that we stayed there so at night it...

We did not stay at this hotel, but noticed a 'special' 3 course meal advertised on the board outside the hotel for 'tourists' in their restaurant. Price was 30 Peruvian soles each (about AUD$ 12.50), sounded like good value. My daughter and I arrived around 7.00 PM and were advised we could supply our own wine (BYO) free of corkage...
