Overall, most excellent! Breakfast coffee was a little slow a couple of times, the room we stayed in for our last night was very cold (nit sure the heat was working properly), but it made for good sleeping.

The hotel is outstanding, a way out of Puno, it is a quite haven with beautiful surroundings. The rooms are spacious with complimentary mini bar. The food was superb and the staff all very helpful and friendly infact they go out of their way to make sure your stay with them is perfect. The excursion to Tequile and the floating...

We strongly suspect that Titilaka is by far the best place to stay in the area - but of course it has a price tag to match! The first thing to say is that it is remote - being a 45 minute drive from Puno - the last few miles along an unmade road. So you have the hotel, the...

A touch of peace and quiet, coupled with superb food, wonderful rooms, great service, stunning views, fabulous excursions - all included. We had to start sharing meals to get through the menu in the three days we had there!! We loved it.

This place is a must go to! We enjoyed two nights here and they have everything you might wish for. Excellent food, great drinks, a wide variety of excursions, friendly staff and a great area to hang out in. It's located right at the lake, with a beautiful view. I wished we could have stayed longer :-)

I only can recommend this wonderful hotel. Even if the way to this retreat is really really a challenge you will love the calmness and the excellent service. We enjoyed a very nice half day walking and hiking tour with spectacular views. Unfortunately we could not do the full day tour since we decided to rest a bit. Ask for...

Stayed here for two nights and loved it! The excursions, Food and service were exceptional. Was a little scared because of the cost but it was worth it! Highly recommend the floating island and island of Taquile excursion.

This hotel is a little jewel. It is situated on its own right on Lake Titicaca with really fantastic views out over the lake. It is quite a trip to get to the hotel- (but I have to say I understand remarkably better than staying over near Puno – which looks like a tourist sprawl further up the lake). On...

We travelled to Hotel Titilaka as part of a broader Peru trip. It was an extra flight and an hour and a half ride to the hotel but it was worth the trip. The hotel sits on the banks of Lake Titilaka which is one of the larger inland lakes in the world and sits at an elevation of 12,500...

If you're going to come this far, and have the money, this is the place to stay. You will find yourself in an area of the world that is so off-the-charts different, that this luxury must come at a price. The hotel is stunning; the excursions are excellent, the staff is helpful. My only complaint is that we were cold...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Infinite skies, snowcapped peaks and limitless shimmering waters will be your companions at this luxury lodge on a remote, private peninsula on the shores of Lake Titicaca. All 18 rooms look out on to the mystical Andean lake, birthplace of the fabled Inca Empire and still home to some of Peru’s farthest-flung communities, many of whom benefit from our operations. Responsible, sustainable development is at the heart of Titilaka’s philosophy; more than 90% of staff are locals and we source food locally as much as possible, while our business model focuses on conserving Andean traditions. Sunsets and the star-speckled night sky here are once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Daytime activities range from exploring Inca and pre-Inca ruins, to visiting the floating reed islands of the Uros people, to leisurely hiking or biking through stunning Andean scenery. The lodge has a sophisticated modern touch and, with its sensational Peruvian cuisine, is the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. ... more   less
