My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of spending a beautiful fall weekend in the Rose Room at A Wicher Garden. The room was beautiful and plush. My 6'6" boyfriend was pleased to finally find a shower he didn't have to duck in! The breakfasts were as exquisite. Both mornings the meal was light and not overly sweet. It was...

My husband and I stayed here with our miniature dachshund for two nights. Gail's breakfasts were wonderful and our room was exceptionally clean. We had a comfortable stay but Auburn doesn't have a lot going on. The downtown has great possibilities but was a bit of a disappointment - very few restaurant choices, minimal shopping, etc. We were attending a...

We thank these guests for their kind words and good review. We would like to note the last sentence of the review speaks for itself, they didn't take any time to explore or even ask about the area at all. They arrived late on Friday evening, never left the Inn on Saturday until mid-afternoon when they went directly to a...

My husband and I stayed here last year, and shortly after booked our room for this year. We also brought family this year and had a wonderful time! After hours out on the wine trail as well as shopping at the Windmill in Penn Yan- we realxed on the porch before heading to dinnner in Skaneateles. Wicher Garden is the...

We have just returned from 5 nights (was 4 but stayed on!) as guests of Gail and Gary, and that is how you feel, welcomed as visiting friends or family. The accommodation was exactly as shown on the website, but obviously better in reality. We stayed in the Garden Room which was beautifully decorated on a garden theme, and overlooked...

Our room and bath were very comfortable. Breakfasts were fun and varied. Beverages were always available and afternoons always presented us with treats. Country quiet and yet close to a variety of activities in the small city of Auburn, NY. Centrally located amid the gorgeous Finger Lakes with all there is to enjoy in the great outdoors.... lakes, waterfalls, parks...

We only stayed for a couple of nights while doing a whirl wind tour of local wineries, but I would most definitely be willing to stay again. Gail and Gary, the proprietors, were both friendly and good humored. The property and the rooms were immaculate and beautiful. And breakfast was something to look forward to at the start of the...

These folks are truly the salt of the earth. There should be no apprehension when wanting to inquire about this place. For us, they have a loyal lifetime customer. The attention to detail and accomadation to are particular needs was unparallel to any other place we have stayed before. For instance, my partner has special dietary needs, in which Gale...

Just returned from a three night get away to the Finger Lakes region staying at A Wicher Garden. Our visit couldn't have been nicer. Gail and Gary, the Innkeepers, are just wonderful people-so friendly and helpful. And what a job they have done lovingly restoring their old farmhouse to an amazing destination. We stayed in the Rose suite and it...
