Let me start by framing this review as to put things into perspective. I usually do not give negative reviews, mostly because I do a lot of research before staying at a hotel or eating at a restaurant, so please take this one for what it is: a very objective complain about a particular situation, not the hotel as a... I stayed in this hotel because my two friends wanted to stay here. Hotel is a short walk to the shopping belt and restaurants. It is a nice hotel and I enjoyed my stay. Service was great and the rooms are spacious, clean with a beautiful bathroom.

There's really nothing to fault with the hotel and the staff. As you walk in, there's a grand lobby and you are greeted by friendly staff all round. Service and attitude of staff is next to none - perfect. However, the rooms are slightly dated and could use a refresh. Wifi in my room was poor (next to none) so... More

I've always loved this hotel; everything about it especially the lobby, who's unarguably the best of all the hotels in Manila. It's the place to see and be seen . There's a live band playing beautiful , soothing music just above in the mezzanine floor overlooking the lobby. There are restaurants that serve different international dishes. Pool is lovely and... We came to Manila for a business trip and conference. The Peninsula was a perfect respite from a bustling city and crazy traffic. The hotel is immaculate, and the staff is attentive and thoughtful. We had the pleasure of visiting in November, so the spacious lobby was decorated for Christmas. There is visible, but not suffocating, security at the gates... More

It took a service staff 5 minutes to approach our table to ask for our order..oh, correction, we had to STOP a waitress and call her attention for some service..when we asked for the bill from the same waitress who had a very unfriendly demeanor, she never gave us the check. We had to ask again..very sad for a Peninsula..

We enjoyed our stay here in this hotel. Serve great asian foods. It's at the heart of the city. Don't miss to visit there bar and spa, nice place to enjoy a few drinks after a tiresome day and pamper yourself with the best massage they offer at the spa. Time to regain more energy in our feets with a... More

I have stayed in Peninsula in Hongkong, Chicago, etc. this one in Manila is so old, the junior suite ( club lounge), my room was so old that I sneezed all the three nights we were there. The two picture windows at the living room was so dirty and I told the engineers who came to checked the safe were... More

We did a last min booking so the price of our room is quite high but this place is worth it. All staff are very polite and courteous. The room we got is in the smaller side but very clean. I really like their spa I did my facial and massage and both lady who did it are very professional... More

Stayed at the Peninsula Hotel for the past three nights on a package booked by American Express. The hotel was attractively decked in the festive spirit for Christmas - very nicely done. Check in was in the executive lounge and I was very quickly transferred to my suite which was well appointed on the eleventh floor. Lounge service was very... More
