The cheapest hotel I could find. Stayed for 15 days. The rooms was on 4th floor nice and clean. I say rooms because halfway through our stay our air conditioning unit gave out so we were relocated(for free) to another room. The employees were all kind and willing to help with everything we needed. Location is nice. Almost next to Ayala mall and the general area is safe and easy to navigate/find transport in the form of either jeepney or bus. Decor is a bit gloomy and outdated. That beige on the walls is the only thing I disliked. It is by no means a 5 star hotel but it's a bargain for its price(15 euros a night) anyone would be stupid to pass. I recommend it to everyone who want to visit Cebu on a budget. We didn't taste their kitchen or visit the gym they have.
I booked this hotel because it is just walking distance from our Cebu office and it advertised that it has a gym. It indeed has a decent gym, but apparently, hotel paying guests are not allowed to use it unless they pay for gym use. Which was not clearly stated on the booking websites. I'm actually ok to pay, but unfortunately, the way this message was relayed to me was very unprofessional. The front desk lady just blatantly told me I cannot use the gym. I was a bit surprised on how she informed me, considering that they are in the service industry.
I booked this hotel as it said it had a fridge, safe and smoke alarm in room. Well it had none of the above! I went to complain and they said old ad. I said well take it down its false advertising. And it's still on Agoda saying those things included. If I wanted a fridge it was 50 pesos a day. I didn't bother. The gym and location are the 2 main good things about the hotel and the rooftop to chill. The gym is 120 pesos extra although they don't say that on Agoda description. But it's actually worth paying for its really good. Will I be back? No way.
My son's first birthday party was held there. The function room was big enough to hold about 60 people plus kids. My event planner arranged everything for me and it was a great night. I rented a room so we can stay the night after the party and the amazing thing was the room was just beside the function room. It was perfect. Although the amenities and the room itself were pretty basic, it was affordable. So overall, it was a great experience.
Our travel agency book us this hotel for our stay in Cebu. The room isnt clean, very hot, and althought there is an air-con in the room it barely work well and super noisy. but, the most terrible thing was that one night when we came back to our room we saw around 8 cockroaches on our bed in the room, and the staff wasn'r so suprised from this. they try to come and to spray our room but even after we still had cockroaches coming to the room from the ceiling. do yourselves a favor and dont come here.
Location is good because it's near Ayala. We booked a room for 2 nights. The first night, we had to wake up at 2 in the morning because the AC was busted. We were transferred to a cheaper room (LOL) and guess what, it happened again. If you really want a good night's sleep, I suggest you look for another place.
I made reservation for 2 rooms to be able to join a dogshow on October 28, 2018. My guest who came with his wife was confronted by the front desk officer and was adviced that the room I paid for was only for one person. And he was asked to pay additional P300 for his wife. Good thing that I saved my booking confirmation which showed that my booking was for two persons. Second incident was regarding the per hour extension. When I inquired over the phone how much is per hour of extension, I was answered, P100 per hour. But on the day that my kennel boy will stay for additional few hours, He was told that he will pay P200/hour of extension. In my dismay, I just paid another day extension. My advice to you guys, beware of their pricing and conditions before you book.
My stay at Allsons Inn was indeed incredible. The hotel staff was very accommodating. The facilities were simple yet satisfying. Above all, this place of genuine comfort is very accessible. In conclusion, this is very commendable.
The location was okay since it was the nearest budget accommodation near my appointment at that time. No nearby ATM machines available. No food places nearby except for Jollibee but you have to walk at least 50m away from the hotel. The hotel in general was okay. No complains when it comes to the staff since I didn't have much interaction with them. The food was A+! I didn't expect it to be so much given the cheap price. It was also tasty and they serve fast :) You just have to eat your food at the dining area though (6th floor) since they charge for room service if you eat inside your room. The room was the highlight of my stay. Honestly, I wasn't troubled that I was placed in the 6th floor. However, my first two nights were really creepy. I had full blown nightmares and I can "sense" that someone was looking at me when I close my eyes at night. I've stayed at other known 'creepy' hotels in the city but never experienced the same thing as what I've experienced here. Maybe it was just a personal experience but it was my first time to feel scared in a hotel room. I decided to check out earlier because of this. Other than that, I really liked their room. There were a lot of parties/events held on the 6th and upper floor so you can hear the loud noise but it wasn't really a bother for me. Not for older guests I guess. The rooms were spacious enough and good water pressure :) Aircon is pretty functional. And there was a chapel on the 5th floor too! If I will stay there again, I'd opt for a floor on the lower levels ;)…
stayed here twice for 10nyts, what i like about this hotel is that whenever i need to transfer room, they always transfer me to the room that i like, staff is nice, rooms are spacious enough, with cable tv, with hot and cold shower, wifi is not that fast, you need to be in the lobby for a fast connection, they have restaurant in the roof top, they offer room service but up to 9pm only, location is good, very near to ayala center cebu,
