Travelbee is a thrifty traveler's dream. For a low price, you get a big air conditioned room, a good bathroom, WiFi, and a television, you know, the basic amenities. Overall, its a nice place to stay especially if you're thrifty. Me and my parents liked it so much that we recommended it to my aunt, who then stayed at Travelbee with her husband, her two children, and her father-in-law.
I have been staying at travelbee Cebu for the past 3 years when I travel to Cebu. The hotel is close by Mango Street and has a great location. It is clean and the service is amazing. Maryam at guest services is great, she goes above and beyond to fulfill guest needs. I strongly recommend this hotel for any Canadian travelers. The price very reasonable.
Roomy accommodations and spacious CR, although a little dated with respect to renovations. The hot water for showers worked very good as did the AC in the unit for a nice cool sleeping environment. The AC was a bit noisy though. Very spacious accommodations for clothing and overall elbow room. Simple, easy check-in and check-out. Complimentary breakfast is also available starting 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. The staff was very helpful and accommodating with a late check-out. Overall good value and helpful friendly staff.
For me, it is worth what you paid for. Very affordable. You should consider staying here if it's just for night stay, I mean if you will just stay here to sleep after your day tour. But if you plan for staycation, find other lodging. My father and I stayed for a night only because we went to Bohol the next day. It was last November 2016. I booked their Economy Hive room. The room is ok, aircon and TV are functioning. It was a twin bedroom. If I could remember clearly, for worth P600++, it also includes complementary breakfast (bread and coffee) and a small bathing soap, AND FREE WIFI. The bathroom and comfort room is shared among other inn guests. But we didn't experience waiting for other guests to finish using the CR because we prepared early for our next tour. The receptionist is also friendly. She answers my questions on how to go here and there. She instructed us what code of jeepney should we ride. For me this is a nice lodging overall.…
The inn is so costly compared to other inns and hotels located near the city center. Highly recommending to check your bookings at least a day before you checked in, and check the total booking amount qouted, at least 10 times make sure that there will be no hidden charges. Recommending Inns near R Landon St or Ramos. Worst booking experience, goos thing we checked it ahead of time.
Stayed with family and friends overnight before our flight the next day. Clean room. Cable tv, hot and cold shower. Helpful staff. *Make sure you specify which branch the taxi driver brings you to as they have a couple branches. The cabbie brought us to the Travelbeeph Business hotel.
I arrived on Friday at 10 am was told could not check in until 1400 which was ok that was first drawback then no working shower for 5 days and a constantly blocking toilet. not hot food in the so called buzz cafe. so be a where yes it close to amenities shops bars.TV is old as the hills with only few channels. although staff very pleasant I can not wait to move to my other choice. not worth the money.even my pinay gf did not want to stay in it and she lives in a slum area.
For less than a thousand pesos we were able to stay in an econo room good for 3 people. Very strategic location since it is in the osmena circle vicinity. We are near crown regency hotel, shamrock and larsian. Beds and pillows are clean and there's cable tv. They also provided bath towels wc we didnt use since we always bring our own when travelling because remember these are cheap accomodations so dont expect for a fine service and clean towels. Moving on, bathroom, restroom and lavatory for econo room is common and only one. It's clean but the shower has a very light flow of water so its really hard to take a shower. They should provide a pail and dipper instead so people wont have a hard time taking shower. They have free coffee and bread for breakfast too.
Located at the center of Cebu, with its proximity to one of the leading Hospitals in Cebu, and near Robinsons mall and Cybergate, and most especially, the CASINO. This is a simple place to stay. With its affordable price (1,500.00 for 5 beds in 1 room), I can say this is intented for family who loves to travel. And for the backpackers like us, this is a done deal already. I myself loves to travel, I am more to sight seeing and adventure outside, so i opted to stay in hotels like this to save me money, and just use it for strolling around the city or town!
It was a good stay. The Inn is relatively close to the attractions of Cebu, since it's almost in the center (Capitol). It's around an hour and 20 minutes travel from the airport (P220 - P240; White Taxi). There was free Bread and Coffee every morning during our stay. Even though the hotel was a budget type, the rooms were spacious, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the air-conditioning worked just fine. Great place to stay at for group travelers or even just by yourself. I recommend this place to people staying in Cebu for a tourist trip.
