Got out of metro nearby in the night and searched for more than 30 minutes on Arbat street up and down to find the hotel. Very difficult to find the hotel. Nobody knows where is it. At last found the hotel, climbed up the stairs....More

The main advantage of this hostel is excellent location - near Old Arbat. The rooms are very small and there was a smell of paint in the hotel when we were staying there (although not in the room itself). It is actually a hostel, so...More

Inefficient staff. We lost our flight and had to buy new tickets because the receptionist booked us a taxi for 8.15 and told us that it would only take us 40 minutes to arrive to the airport on a Tuesday morning. Due to traffic it...More

Writing this review as we are still here, our second night so far, and would like to praise this accommodation. The room was so nice, and the decor was fab. The communal kitchen, although small, did the job perfectly for cooking our breakfasts. The beds...More

We stayed here for 5 nights. The accommodation was booked by our travel company on our trans Siberian adventure. This was by far the worst out of 6 hotels we stayed in across Russia and Mongolia. The room (number 7) was a very tiny double...More

Crowds of tourists, both local and international take
in Old Arbat and its modern and gigantic peer – New
Arbat. One reason visitors keep coming is no doubt
Konstantin Melnikov’s famous private house, now open
to the public and worthy of a visit. After exploring
one of the oldest parts of Moscow, avoid the crowds
and turn to the side streets and boulevards where
calmness and affordable food is plentiful.
