Rooms are good size. You can close the door between the room where bed is and the entry(way)area, so you have a quiet room.
Interior is old, but it' ok. No WiFi, but slow cable Internet is available.

Excellent location! 2minutes from Old Arbat street full of art and busy life till late night, 5min to Blue line Metro station, possibility to walk to Red square (around 40 min for trained walkers in good shoes).

• location is very good 5 mins walk from Arbat street and 10 to 15 mins to Arbat Metro station
• rooms are fine
• staff are friendly n helpful
Apart from the somewhat Soviet monolithic style of architecture, this is a truly excellent hotel. The receptionists were super and spoke excellent English, the room was both well equipped and extremely comfortable, and the breakfast likewise excellent. We stayed for three nights at the Arbat Hotel in Moscow. Booking was easy, Visa Support was very quick (2000 rubles). Even a rebooking due to a change of travel date was no problem.
