This hotel is not a 5 star property, so don`t expect international standards here. I had a problem obtaining a second towel, having booked a single room. They initially wanted to charge me for one extra towel but then agreed to "exchange" it for me - which meant that the maid tried to remove the towel from me while giving...

This July I was in this hotel and I must say it has all the conditions to feel great. The hotel is wonderfully decorated, with great taste, all the floors have nice pictures and the colours of furniture and carpets match. The people at the reception are very helpful and the breakfast room is huge and you even have a...

Good price, nice location, great view, especially by night. Big building, long corridors, felt a little bit dusty (in many ways).Wi-fi available (for free). The staff, well, not so kind. The Arbat street is just a few blocks away, also the river Moscow. The nearest metro station is Smolenskaya, and there is Mu-Mu restaurant, too (cheap and tasty food).

Thank you Golden Ring hotel for a wonderful stay. Our time there more than lived out our expectations. I can't find anything that we didn't like about the hotel. We had a great room (5 star standard) with a perfect view of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (pic att.) The best thing about it I'd like to point out is breakfast....

Stayed for 4 nights, good size room, air conditioning not brilliant, staff all polite and efficient, very good breakfast. Restaurant menu disappointingly limited, Bar food okay, bar service mostly erratic.

Wow. Recommended by coworkers, and I was curious how a five-star hotel can be so cheap in Moscow. It's more of a Holiday Inn. Perhaps five stars on a ten-star scale?Antiquated and cheap throughout. Okay to sleep in, and in a pretty convenient location, but don't expect an experience here. WiFi on the 17th floor was tediously slow, as if...

Golden Ring Hotel is marvellously located in the center of Moscow, and this is a major plus. Arbat street is close by, lots of restaurants and places to do shopping are there too. The facility is a bit run down though, it certainly lived through better periods and would need a more modern touch. Rooms are a bit worn down,...

The hotel based in the "Golden Ring" is near two metro stations which will get you into the red square in a short time, and beyond if you need. The hotel itself is comfortable, even at the standard level your room has nice touches; sadly a short stay meant we missed a meal in the panoramic restaurant. Staff friendly and...

We found the hotel very comfortable and the indoor pool, spa, steam room etc were a great plus. The only thing I would fault them for was their housekeeping as when we arrived there was part of a cheap necklace and some hairclips on the floor which I placed in the rubbish bin. There was however a small plastic bag...

Staying in Khamovniki

Neighbourhood Profile
Khamovniki
Khamovniki could be considered a city of its own – here it’s possible to find some of Moscow’s most important cultural institutions such as the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the Novodevichy Convent and Trubetskikh Estate, great sport locations such as Luzhniki stadium and aqua complex, and long and beautiful Luzhniki embankment. Pick your preferred form of transport to explore the area – bicycle or river cruise during the summer and taxi in winter as many of the great places are situated beyond a short walk.
