A grand entrance and a huge lobby area with a 24/7 lobby bar. My room on the 13th floor had a magnificent view over Moscow and Moscow river. The entire hotel has a somber, 70's feeling with dark wooden panels - providing a certain Soviet...More
Ultimately have to give this hotel just two stars, though some aspects are better than others. The women in reception were reserved but professional, and helpful when asked.

Yakimanka acts as Moscow’s evergreen lungs with prime beaches on the Moscow river. All the benefits of visiting and living in Yakimanka are gathered at the Moscow river embankment – three parks: Gorky, Muzeon and Neskuchny garden shape this green stripe with museums showing the hippest contemporary art. The area is full of activities for your eyes (museums), mouth (restaurants) and feet (sport and dance-wise). Access
anywhere is easy, just hop on a river boat and continue your journey throughout the city.
