Austrian yard is at about 30min walk from Kazanskij Cathedral. Very close to metro station Chernyshevskaja. Rooms are tidy and good sized. Kitchen and bath room as well. Ironing devices and hair dryers available. The staff is very friendly. I speak Russian and I'm not sure if they speak English too.

First of: staff was friendly and helpful and tried to accommodate our wishes as best as the could. Location is OK. Subway is near by but you will have to change once if you want to go to the main sights. Alternatively you could walk but it will take you probably 20 Minutes to get to the church on spilled...

Very friendly staff, good room full equiped and very good breakfast. Just five minutes from Metro station and 30 minutes walking from main attractions. It's necessary to pay attention to the main entrance because there isn't a clear indication of the hotel reception

Right across from US Consulate, wrought-iron gate with a 24-hour call bell at No. 16. This hotel gives a great sense of the inner courtyards so typical of St. Petersburg apartment living, and has a fantastic southern Russian restaurant across the street (with tasty Azeri and Gerogian cuisine as well, and some live music on weekends). Our room had a...

Quite difficult to locate, this hotel is in a Courtyard and is not well signed. It is a small hotel behind an electronically controlled entry, and isn't all that 'user friendly'. There is no elevator, the rooms are sparse, although the bathroom was modern and with a heated floor! Breakfast is spartan and is served in another electyronically controlled room...

Might be hard to find from the street, but go through the gate of No.16 into the courtyard, and the hotel entrance is in a corner. Rooms face the yard, not the street, so are quiet as well as clean. Good-quality, clean shower/toilet rooms (no bathtubs) and plenty of hot water, though toiletries a little basic (just sachets of shower...
