I booked this hotel at the recommendation of [--] and was absolutely impressed with the value I received for the money charged. The hotel is impressively clean everywhere you go, the front desk people were extremely polite and helpful, the business center had first class computers and I felt safe and at home at all times. I really liked the...

I stayed here as part of a Scandinavia/St. Petersburg escorted tour. Although the hotel advertises A/C, they don't really have it; the front desk will tell you "it's in process." If you leave your window open so as not to suffocate (assuming you can open both halves, which many people in our group were unable to do), you WILL have...

The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring this very beautiful city. It is also particularly handy for travellers arriving by train from Moscow, being just a short walk from the train station at which the Moscow trains arrive. The public areas of the hotel have clearly been renovated in recent years and are attractively decorated. The restaurant provides...

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Not too far to walk to the historic centre along Nevsky Prospekt; alternatively can take the metro and arrive in one stop. Also next to Moscow station, so taking the midnight train to Moscow is not a problem. So close to Marius Pub, which was a great place to have a...

I have just returned from St.P, and have had many great experiences, including the hotel. It is easy to find, and the location is perfect. Checking in went smoothly, and the rooms were very nice, and quite big! We stayed in the main building, on the 4th floor. I was worried about the heating (it was cold outside), however, the...

hotel isnt that good- checkin was easy, but no one helped us with our luggage even though the doormen stood right there- the hallways in this hotel are extremely long- our room was the one farthest away from the elevator. the room was a very nice size with two large windows that opened in several ways. the beds were not...

My partner and I stayed here as part of a pckage deal to Russia. We were on a round the world trip and expected a bit more for the price. We knew this was 3 star and requested one double bed. No one could get this right and we ended up with twin beds which were not great but at...

This hotel is at the top of Nevsky, we had a large suite room at no extra cost, but as previously stated the larger rooms on the front do suffer from the trams clanking all night. The staff were polite and the prostitutes in the bars were not offensive, just there. All in all a good hotel and a much...

Absolutely a great location in the center. In addition to a great location, the hotel is only a 3 minute walk to the metro station and less than a five minute walk to the train station where all trains going to or originating from Moscow are. A travel agency in the hotel can arrange train tickets. The price the hotel...

OK, hotels in St Pete are generally overpriced: it is after all a country with average wages of €250 per month, so charging hundreds of euros per night is not reasonable. But the city has very few hotels in the first place (and the government doesn't make it easy for new hotels to appear) so the hotel scene is mostly...
