We stayed here for five nights in April and were upgraded in a better room. The B&B and the rooms were super clean, the location is very good (central and calm). The breakfast (self-service) is very nice too : bread, eggs, cereals, yoghurts, bacon, cheese, tea, coffee, orange juice. Irina, the manager, is very nice, helpful and responsive. We warmly...

Excellent as always. Not my first time visiting and definitely won't be my last. Great location and great facilities. Staff is very friendly and helpful! They will help you with every problem you might have, e.g. Book transportation for you, or help you book an appointment etc. Yet haven't had an issue they couldn't have helped me with.

The hotel is well located close to a metro station, supermarket, bank and restaurants/bars. Irina the manager is a star and accommodates you into the smallest detail. The hotel is clean and warm and has a well equipped kitchen where you are free to cook your own meals. The (included) breakfast is gorgeous and supplies you with enough energy to...

The room was spotless, bed, closet, desks, and bedside table were clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom for single rooms was equally clean. The kitchen/breakfast was huge and generous. Would stay again although location is not as ideal as Nevsky, still a great choice and value.

The owner could not have been more helpful and certainly made us feel very welcome. everything was clean and the use of the kitchen, 24hours, was fantastic. As other reviewers have stated it is not obvious from the street, but this is not unusual for Russia - simply make sure you ring the number you will be given and all...

I usually stay in international hotels when traveling, so this was a new experience, but how nice to get home from excursions and find a piece of home! Very very clean, the person in charge is available when you need her but it is really relaxing. You prepare your own breakfast and the kitchen is open night and day, with...

We stayed in the swissSTAR B&B for three nights and a great experience, everything was clean and the staff was friendly. Only make sure that you get a pickup service from the airport or railway station as it is hard to find the place otherwise - it is not marked from the outside and you have to know where to...

It is quite expensive, not very central for many sightseeing places, it was very hot in the room (stay during summer time) with open window very noisy at night nevertheless no air circulation, breakfast has to be made by yourself and dishes put in the dishwasher. It is more a hostel/backpacker. Staff, however, very friendly and helpful.

“Go during low season (any season EXCEPT summer) in St. Petersburg in order to have a quiet room. The B & B is in the center of St, Petersburg. That means super convenient for shopping, restaurants, & sight seeing places (Winter Palace, Marinsky Theater, Nefsky Prospect, etc.). But that also means that in high season, it can probably get quite loud.”
