I would like to thank all the staff for their kindness and the quality of service they offered me. I would particularly like to thank Michelle for her warm welcome, sympathy and professionalism. She was sincere, helpful and caring 👍🏻 The catering service was also excellent and had a very varied choice (the food was of very good level and the buffet was impeccable). I would particularly like to thank the Pastry and Bakery Chef of your hotel for the quality of his bread, delicious pastries and pastries made as well and as good as in France 🇫🇷👍🏻
This hotel was supposed a high quality one, even during 2020 &2021 with the covid impact. In the past few months, the lounge has been closed for breakfast and don't know when to open. You gotta visit the restaurant at 2/F. In July this year, business in terms of number of people resumes back to pre-covid state, summer holidays is on the way. It's not easy to get tables at breakfast, tons of people sitting at the so called Accor Members Zone suddenly. The restaurant got lots of interns and inexperienced staff, a few managers with rich experience were running around and very busy. You will see guest with the hotel bathrobe eating breakfast sometimes, you will see pastry area chef touching and reading cell phone messages once a while with their hands (with glove) while they will serve food with the same hand (and same glove). It's really a disappointing visit.…
We stay at hotel for 2 nights, Ashley from the executive lounge is very friendly and helpful, the cocktail Daiquiri she makes is the best. Our train depart at afternoon,she kindly delay our check out time. If we come back at next time,the Sofia hotel is our first choice.
This place is good. It could be great if staffs are trained better to do their job. People like me traveling on business will have stayed in many places and staff deficiencies are all visible to them.
My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate her birthday and fathers day together,...Thanks to duty manager Penny who made us feel welcomed and helped us with a few minor problems. The room we were staying in was nice excepyt for a broken chair and lack of phone charging stations. Thanks to Penny to helped us to enjoy our stay!
The breakfast at lounge has been closed for a period of time already in view of the impact of COVID, as a diamond ACCOR member and a loyal guest of this hotel, I totally understand the situation and I feel ok to have breakfast at 2/F temporarily. However, the COVID has been quite under control in GZ these few weeks and you can see the business of the hotel is coming back gradually. You can't even find seats for breakfast during Thursday and Friday when those group of people finished the morning meeting and coming to breakfast......not to mention the Dragon Boat holiday recently. Having breakfast peacefully and comfortably at lounge is quite crucial for me indeed and it's high time we resumed the breakfast at lounge.
Thank you again to the team of the Club Millesime on the 29th which really makes the stay at Sofitel more enjoyable. Michelle and her colleagues / team have been very helpful and ensured all guests had a pleasant time there. A good address when you are in Guangzhou, and definitely worth paying the little extra to access the Club.
Spent a night here to celebrate our anniversary, and it was again a great stay. We have eaten here many times over the years, but only stayed here a few times before. Upon check-in we were assigned the suite we booked and were informed it'd already been decorated for our anniversary, though we were also still entitled to an upgrade with our membership. We had not stayed in this type of rooms so we went ahead with the upgrade - shout out to Julie at reception for her patience accommodating the change! Lounge experience at Sofitel Sunrich is always fantastic. Happy to see Ashley again as she was also there when we last visited and always made the effort to have conversations with us and making us feel comfortable and welcome. Much appreciated. Jacky also provided exceptional service and demonstrated a high level of professionalism. Lounge is only open 11am-8pm due to the impact of pandemic, understandably. Hope it can get back to normal soon enough as we truly enjoyed having breakfast in the lounge. In general it was a great stay and we highly recommend anyone staying to try the lounge.…
We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and like everything about it. Staff were really helpful and efficient ( Lauren Zhang, Crystal, Jenny Liu, Michelle Mi). Very Clean room, thanks to the housekeeper. Meals and drinks are what we were looking for and we were very pleased about the variety of food. And the drinks were very tasty, thanks to club Ivan. Sorry if I forget someone in my comments and thank you so much to make our stay so enjoyable and we bringing home some very good memories.
We stay there on May 17 and we was very welcomed by Blue Lan the manager, he demonstrated lot of professionalism and care about our needs! We will never forget his good attitude and good suggestions he provided Thankfully to the GZ sofitel! See you soon!
