Wow, this little slice of Europe just sitting what feels like in the middle of nowhere is hard to explain until you've experienced it! A sprawling villiage like feel made us feel like we were in fact in a small little European town somewhere peaceful and serene (hard to believe a bustling city of millions of people is not too...

This hotel is a bit of europe in China. We only stayed the one night as part of our transit, but as the mist from the river floated around the old world architecture illuminated by lamp posts it had a wonderful feel. The rooms were lovely, they staff very helpful, the pool is huge. Definately worth a stay.

We stayed here as we had an over night layover in Guangzhou. China Southern Airlines put us up in this hotel. It took about 40 minutes to get here from the airport. It is a huge European style hotel with lots of marble. The hotel looked empty, as we had to trek a long ways to our room. The room...

Ok ! I arrived at this resort at night around 10PM. From Guangzhou airport I had 13 hours layover. The place looked nice and well decorated at night ! And was. Clean . Upon arrival I got greeted by the front disk receptionist and he did speak good English. The check in was easy and they arranged a shuttle and...

This was a strange hotel. It felt a little haunted. Not one person in the hotel in April just the people that the China Southern Airline bused there to stay the night. There was no bell staff, no bar, and no sign of life except for the 2 people at the front desk and a 4 people in the breakfast...

My family stayed here when our flight was delayed to Bali. The last thing we wanted was to have to overnight in Guangzhou, but quite honestly we were quite pleased with our rooms. They were huge! Comfy beds and large bathrooms. Old European design which was odd but this hotel is part of a European village which we can see...

This is a complimentary layover hotel for the Southern China Airlines. It's about an hour from the airport with the complimentary bus service. The concierge that took the return shuttle booking spoke fluent English. The wake up call and shuttle service was on the dot. I was the first passenger to the airport at 4 AM. The room was cavernous...

If one flies with China Southern Airlines and you are, or immediately join the Sky Pearl frequent flyers program, and you have longer than an 8hr stopover in Guangzhou, you will be accommodated in a free hotel. Amazingly and fortunately I was accommodated at this 5 star hotel. Firstly the surroundings are beautiful with lush vegetation and lovely lake. The...

We stayed for only one night at this eclectic hotel/resort. It has been built almost like a theme park of European buildings, from French chateaux to German schloss and is complete with a mock London red telephone box! Amazing. Finding your room can be something of a challenge in this maze of architecture but when we eventually found the right...
