We stayed there twice and we really liked it. The rooms are tiny and old, and so is the bathroom, but it's very clean. The best of this hostel is the lobby /main area. There are a lot of travelers and the atmosphere is nice. They also have really good food there and the prices are OK. On Friday there is...

Monica and the Wada girls were fantastic hosts! They made out stay very comfortable. The dorms are new, very spacious and clean. The Monday night dumplings were delish! One negative would be that the food at the hostel is a little overpriced, but the Wada girls are great for pointing out food options. Overall we had a great time and...

Wada does basically everything well. The hostel is clean, comfortable, inexpensive, and has extremely friendly and knowledgable staff. The food is good although a little bit pricy, but it is often western style meaning the ingredients may be harder to get in China. Easy to make friends with the other guests as there is an open concept lounge area that...

The ladies here at the guilin wada hostel were soooo helpful. Literally hooked the boys up with everything, got us discounts on future travel plans ie: trains, buses. They are all very friendly and pleasant. Food is amazing and prices are quite fair. Rooms are very nice and again very well priced.

Great hostel. Large comfy rooms, beds and showers. Good food and drinks in a comfy lounge, with separate reading and games rooms and even a few guitars. And the Wada Girls are the most friendly and helpful hostesses. Carolyn, Sufi and Monica get special mentions as they are so NICE!

Wada was a great stay. With a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, it was the perfect youth hostel for backpackers. However, if one is traveling on a budget, I would not recommend booking tours through Wada. Once you arrive at attractions, such as the Li River Cruise, via public bus, tours are offered at half of the price. All in...

Wada Hostel is undoubtedly the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Heated bed sheets and AC (with heating) in the rooms guarantees a comfortable sleep; the common area / bar is perfect for socialising with lounges, film area and pool table, and the bar is lively every night of the week - the BBQ party on Friday is unmissable!...

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The staff speaks english and is very helpfull (and nice). The location could be better but the bus to get into the city center is 100m away and costs 2 yuans. Do not hesitate :)

By Far the Best Hostel I've stayed in in Asia. This hostel has all the right things going for it - location , cool staff and a great cafe. The night we were there they had an all you can eat Chinese barbeque event for 40RMB. The whole hostel basically attended and it was a great way to make friends....

The best part by far was the staff.. They were really friendly and always helpful.. Besides they all can speak perfect english (in china thats quite rare). The beds have heating so they are very warm.. The only bad thing is that the bathrooms are really cold. The common area was always full of people and theres quite cool stuff...
