We arrived late and left early so can't say anything about the hotel itself. I can only speak about the room. The beds were hard but they did have a pad on it that made it comfortable. The bathroom was small and had a glass window between the bath and bedroom. There was a screen you could let down to...

We arrived after midnight following a very late flight. The check in was swift enough but we wanted a drink to relax but were told by unhelpful staff that the bar was closed even though the bar opened later when someone complained. The room was OK, functional but uninspired and the shower facilities were also OK. As we were tired...

We stayed here as part of the Sinorama package. It was not 5 star by Western standards. Beds in China are hard and this one was expecially so. The other trend that seems to be common in China is dirty carpeting. Than in itself leaves me cold and reduces the rating I would normally give. We had a view of...

This is he only hotel which we thought was not up to mark in our trip. The outside definitely needs to be updated. Inside it okay, in fact the garden in the courtyard is nice. The room is clean. Walking distance from city center.

Chinese five-star hotels can be hit or miss and this one has its share of both. This sprawling estate hotel located a little outside the city mainstream ticks some of the requisite boxes but completely misses others. Once you get past the well-presented façade the lack of maintenance that characterizes so many Chinese properties makes this two-decade old hotel appear...

This was the first hotel in China that I felt had great air conditioning. I was extremely comfortable in my room. The staff was really helpful and treated us great. I definitely recommend you choose this location if staying in Guilin.

Situated about a 10 minute walk from a good shopping centre and market, The room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were of a 5* standard. One of the largest entry foyers I have seen anywhere and relaxing to look at and be in. The best part of the stay was looking at the Chinese courtyard garden from the courtyard...

Three nights as part of Sinorama tour group. Good average Chinese hotel. Large foyer, excellent choices at breakfast for Western palate, Lovely gardens off foyer. Rooms OK but quite a long walk from reception to room. Some in group complained of strong cigarette smell in their rooms. Good wifi access. Good location for local city sights.

Rooms were great as was the meals and staff. Very pleasant and personable staff who did everything in their power to make us comfortable and welcome. Very pleased...

The hotel is a typical 5* chinese hotel. No more and no less. Due to a relatively recent refurbishment, the rooms are OK, clean and comfortable. Tried the Japanese restaurant, nothing to die for but OK. Swimming pool area needs upgrades, fitness area is OK but no sauna. As it often happens in China (and despite the presence of a...
