This hostel has been recently renovated and it's fantastic! The cafe when you enter is nicely designed and offers everything from western to Chinese food plus beers. Everything we ate was tasty! We stayed two nights in a dorm at the start and end of our visit to the region. Room and bathroom were incredibly clean and clearly very new....

The girls running this hostel are fantastic. They speak English very good and their commitment to help their customers is hard to beat. Everything is very clean and you have many options for food on the nearby streets in the evening.

I would say this was the best hostel I stayed in whilst travelling China for a month. The rooms (I stayed in a twin room) were large with great comfortable beds & pillows, air conditioning, a good size bathroom with awesome water pressure in the shower! Plus lots of power points to charge camera/phone/ipads etc. Also Free Wifi (and it...

This place is by far the best hostel I have stayed in whilst travelling around Asia. The reasons are simple and plain to see. Firstly i have to mention Amy and Echo, but more about them later. The hostels interiors and room are modern, spacious and very comfortable. Solid dark wood beds, that are very large and very comfortable, Iv slept...

Good hostel overall, the rooms are just perfect : large and comfy beds, A/C, curtains on the beds of the dorms. But it is a bit quiet if you want to meet other travelers. The only common space is a restaurant downstairs.

FYI Formerly known as Backstreet Hostel (as per guidebooks that are wont to quickly go out of date & instead of assisting lead you up the wild goose path) allied to the also well managed Wada hostels in both Guilin & Yangshuo. This is the revamped version. As central as you can get, as it says on the tin. The...

I usually never leave reviews on Tripadvisor, but I make an exception with this hostel. This is everything I can expect from an hostel: the location was central, the staff nice and helpful, and the rooms spacious, clean and extremely convenient. The 6 beds dorm I stayed in was surprisingly nice. The room was big which let me some privacy,...

We stayed at another hotel nearby, but would have preferred to stay here instead. We had breakfast at central hostel kitchen (restaurant) a couple of times. The food is good. The ambience is very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. They also arrange tours at better prices. Amie also guided us with the map for a city bike...

This hostel has everything, great location, fantastic rooms (thought we were in a hotel at first), great helpful cheery staff, good food and an awesome atmosphere. Even though it cost a little extra it was most definitely worth it. It was so refreshing to meet with staff who were happy to greet you and answer all of your questions. The...
