Super helpful, cheap beer/food and comfortable nights in November. Great place within walking distance to Muslim Quarter (recommend it!) and easy bus access to Teracotta Warriors - Rt 103 - get it from just outside the hospital on other side of busy intersectio. Take 103 to Xian bus station/train and get blue bus to Terracota warriors -very cheap and easy....

This was a good place to stay. Dorm beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The shared bathroom and showers were alright. There was an effective heater in the room. Staff were pretty helpful, though they did tell me an outdated bus route to the hostel (the Melody Hotel route is no longer running) when I informed them of this...

Hostel was average, common rooms were nice but very cold and allowed smoking which didn't make sitting in there very enjoyable. We took there 1 day tour to the Terra Cotta Warriors which was great- really enjoyed it and the guide was very knowledgable. Only one girl that works the front desk spoke English. The heat was turned off in...

Well, I didn’t have a very pleasant experience at the place. Decoration of the common room was very beautiful and nice but my room was very dark with no window to outside, only a light wood window facing the indoor of the hotel (so its means all the noise of a hallway which goes with it : people talking, phone...

There were a few tiny bumps here and there but considering how cheap my stay here was, I am more than impressed. I was initially put in an 8 bed dorm having booked a 6 but it was easily sorted the next day. The staff may seem a bit unfriendly, but I soon learned that although their English is just...

This hostel was a terrible experience in Xi'an. The bedroom was very very dirty (bed sheets, towel and walls) and very small. The bathroom was precarious!!! There wasn't a shower box and the shower water was running in front of toilet. Smoking was permitted in the Hostel!!!

We stayed here for a couples of nights. The room was very dark with no windows to outside, only windows facing the indoor of the hotel (very weird!). The room was tiny and the bathroom was dirty and flooding every shower. The water from the shower had to run the entire bathroom to reach the sink, even around the toilet....

Chinese oriental style youth hostel that is in a very good location right smack near the south gate of the city wall where you can go up and cycle. The hostel itself is a little old but bedding was decent and clean. However I could not stand the stench from the fellow bed mate sleeping below as his shoes was...

Shortly, I loved staying at this hostel (although it was only for one night)! I chose this one based on positive reviews it has and wow, I was surprised how nice and cozy it was! Me and my family were there right between Christmas and Chinese New Year and they still kept all the Christmas decorations. And since I didn't...

I have never stayed here as a hostel guest but have been many times for both food and drink and it's incidentally the place I met my wife, so it has a special place in my heart for that reason. Carlsberg on draft for 20kuai is always nice, the beer's cold and the welcome is always warm as if they...
