The good: Spacious lobby bar, quick and friendly service, during summer days there is an open air restaurant in their back garden. 200m North of the hotel there is a huge shopping mall on the exact site where 1500 years ago was the "western market". The bad: This hotel is clearly past its glory days, breakfast if often overcrowded especially...

I visited Xi'an for business early in June and my Chinese colleague made reservations there. It took about 30 minutes to check in even though there was plenty of staff behind the counter and no one in line... check out was even worst. The room has decorations that would make the 70's proud. It was a non-smoking room but still...

Nice simple rooms, lovely breakfast with a good range of items. Free wifi in lobby area only. Staff were very friendly and the outdoor garden and dinning area was lovely. We had a Chinese BBQ meal one evening which was very nice - try the scallops (delicious, but be warned - they are very garlicky!).

The room we stayed in was small but cosy. The bathroom was well provided for. Excellent breakfast and very helpful staff. The lobby is impressive. The hotel is quite far from the tourist attraction of the Terracotta Soldiers, but otherwise well located- about 10minutes from the city centre. I wish to particularly thank the hotel staff for going out of their...

Fantastic food! The restaurant had a good breakfast with eastern and western food. American coffee was really good. There is Wifi in the lobby. The room was quiet and clean. The laundry service is very expensive.

Been there one night on the way to Hanzhong. This hotel is extremely old and dirt. They use it for turist and charge unreasonable price for the hotel quality. Breackfast in the morning is also very poor.

This hotel looks far better on the outside than the inside. The rooms were not so spacious, although I was travelling alone and hence did not mind. The bathroom was pretty old style with a very old wall mounted hair dryer as well. The entire interiors and decor is pretty old and it seems like there has been no effort...

The good: located south-west of the city wall, close to the huge Tang-style shopping complex (200m north of the hotel); a big variety of Chinese restaurants (just south of the hotel, across the street); during swarm summer days they have a nice garden with BBQ and a beer bar. The so-so: it a hotel clearly past it's glory days, though...

My daughter and I stayed for two weeks at this hotel during our volunteer experience teaching English. We found it to be a very practical non luxury accommodation. The rooms had the basic necessities and were clean, but were small and dull. The beds were firm and we would have had a good sleep except that it was warm outside...
