The Tea Boutique Hotel is a small modern hotel located on busy Shuguang Road near the Dragon Sports Center and a regional bus station but on the other side of the West Lake from town. The location may or may not be an issue since the only reason to be located in town would be to be close to Hefang...

The location of this hotel is not ideal in that it is on a busy road, and there is little of interest within walking distance. However, the hotel and rooms were very attactive, clean, and carefully designed to project a Japanese/Zen atmosphere. The hotel allegedly practices some environmentally green procedures. The room was quiet with the window closed, and the...

The Tea Boutique Hotel is relatively clean and comfortable. The beds are not nearly as hard as most Chinese hotel beds. The sheets and towels were always clean and there was hot water about half the time we were there. Though smaller than photographs make it appear, our room was not too small. The hotel is in a terrible location....

Stayed here for a few days in the beginning of October. The hotel is located on a main road, about a block away from a Walmart, McDonalds, Pizza Hut and a few other eateries, with a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Check in was straight-forward, rooms are simple yet tastefully decorated. Hotel restaurant was good, fried beef...

There are definite language/interpretation experiences in store for westerner's in Hanzahou & this should not be unexpected. The Tea Boutique is a nice place to stay....staff are very attentitive....although sometimes not understanding. It took 2 days before I got Derek to understand the internet kept dropping out every few minutes after going through 5 or 6 other staff. He had...

This was my third stay at Tea Boutique hotel in Hangzhou where I visit often for business. Having stayed at many hotels in Hangzhou this has become my regular choice. In China, unless you are staying at 5 star hotels (and even in some of those) the service can be poor. The ongoing challenge is to find a less expensive...

This is a very attractive hotel of new design, mainly in wood and earth colors. The rooms are spacious, well designed, and very nicely decorated. The whole arrangement left us feeling relaxed and happy, which is how you want to feel when visiting the West Lake. The hotel is not right on the lake but is quite near the northern...

The Tea Boutique is a little hard to find, and a little out of the way for tourists, but delivers excellent value. Its decor is an interesting fusion of 50's Danish meets the Orient. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. On check-in we received two free offers: drink of the day and a free service in the spa (hand treatment)....

a real gem of understated hospitality in shades of brown and white with wood shades. Well crafted rooms and quality furniture with chic modern chinese take on tradition. Expensive but with very reasonable restaurant with glass fronted kitchen and and good value £7 breakfast with western and chinese options tastefully presented. Small free computer with printer and free w-fi plus...

On the advice of a Shanghai-based friend, I recently spent one night at the Tea Boutique Hotel. The room was very spacious and quiet, with a nice Zen-inspired decoration scheme. The restaurant was very good. And the location offered a perfect starting point for several excursions: to the Buddhist temple complex in Lingyin (skip the taxi, a city bus leaves...
