Was taken here for lunch by the guide. Walls, carpet and tablecloth all grubby, plates and glasses chipped. No menu or choice of dishes available, food served of low quality with most left uneaten. A poor choice for lunch near West Lake, I am sure there must be better restaurants for tourists to visit in the area.

I stayed at Lily Hotel for three nights in mid-August. The hotel is average for high-end Chinese hotels. The breakfast is good and the restaurant serves a good variety of dishes for lunch and dinner. Internet is free and fast, free bottled water in the room and green-tea bags, and the air conditioning works well and is not noisy. I...

Stayed here a while ago on our Wendy Wu tour. Pleased with the hotel and rooms. No issues with cleanliness. Being on a well organised tour, we had nothing to arrange and everything went like clockwork. Would be pleased to return as independent travellers.

The hotel looks nice from the outside with a nice entry for a 3 star hotel. Our room was a Standard Room and was ok except my husband sat in the big chair in the corner of the room and the centre springs were broken. We were only here over night. Breakfast was ordinary with lots of asian food. The...

We visited Hangzhou on our trip through China. The hotel is in a nice location, close to the lake, quiet and clean. However, the bed was one of the hardest we have ever seen anywhere in the world. They should consider changing the matrasses. The staff does not speak English too well, so prepare yourself for an adventure if you...

I stayed here a week on business. I thought the facility and location was good, but had a big issue with my room... When the shower was turned on, a strong moldy smell filled my room. I spent my entire week feeling nauseous. (I have been to Hangzhou many times without problem as I eat and drink carefully). I am...

We stayed at the Lily Hotel as part of a G Adventure tour July 2013. The beds where Very hard (yes all beds in China are hard but these were extra firm) there was a bottle of complementary water, a fridge but no safe in the room. It was clean and comfortable. There is a pool but it was not...

For me this was a perfectly OK hotel: good location, service, and friendly staff. Room clean and very large. The bed was incredibly firm, not too far off sleeping on the floor and many wouldn't sleep well. The dining room has seen better days. I would come back, but I would be careful who I recommended it to.

Good location, 10 min from West lake, easy access by bus to town center (bus 118) For the rooms, they were old, dirty and noisy. The carpet had lots of stains, the furniture was very used and broken. The bathroom had mold and the shower was rusty. The staff was impolite and unpleasant. Be careful of the breakfast time limit...

Easy walking distance to West Lake but without a view of the lake. The hotel was luxurious by my standards. Certainly clean and comfortable. A computer with internet access was available for a fee. The restaurant was good and had a menu with some English-named dishes. The reception staff spoke English for us and the restaurant staff coped with our...

“This road is quite quiet really so noise not an issue. We were in suite 615 I think, AC might be an issue - it was about 30degrees when we were there, the AC wasnt having any impact on the room temp!”
