This is such a peaceful place with space to yourself, a real retreat from the crowds of west lake and overful local buses. Ponds, birds, mist in the trees, elegant buildings, comfortable beds. Loved it!

The resort is nearby west lake, walk around 10 minutes to the lake. If you take taxi to the resort, time is within one hour, the taxi fee is around RMB150. Very big bed and balcony. The food is acceptable. When I am living there, there have a wedding party, so it is not a quiet place.

I was surprise while first time come to a resort like in the natural forest right in the central of a busy Hangzhou city. Landscape is so romantic, your room likely floating on the foggy lake's surface. Food serve is great too. Will be back here in the autumn to see leaf changing.

Enjoy the staying in Huajiashan very much. Definitely will book again for next trip to Xiehu! The only thing we don't like very much was even though we booked the non-smoking floor, people still were smoking everywhere!

We stayed two nights at the end of December and paid 995 RMB in total (excluding breakfast). The room was spacious and had a huge comfortable bed and a balcony (no chairs in winter) but the bathroom was small, the internet very slow and, annoyingly, all rooms open open onto an internal courtyard/ huge hall which means that it never...

It is definetely a very nice hotel for the price you pay , all sorrounded by trees, there is no western breakfast but the chinese one is plenty enough i think, very close to the lake, When you hang around Hangzhou it is easier if you tell the driver the name of the Hotel instead of the street where it...

An absolutely beautiful location. Large, comfortable room, bogglingly high speed internet (I wish the states could get that fast). Food was buffet style and, while plentiful, was only so-so - but perhaps it is just the region. Not all of the staff spoke English - but was never a problem. Make sure you take a walk around West Lake while...

The hotel is very good and quiet, a bit far away from main roads. about 5 -10 minute walk from the bus/taxi SanTaiShan road, but it is therefore a real green oasis. The taxi drive to main attractions and restaurants in Hangzhou takes 10-12 minutes, while you can enjoy walking to fish ponds and other WestLake attractions directly from the...
