This hotel is a few minutes away from Sapporo station and is a few steps away from Hokkaido University. The staff were cordial. Check-in process was unique for us because we paid through something like a vending machine. The rooms were nice and clean. The bed may fit at most 2 persons. There is no view outside the window as the window is just facing the wall of a neighbor building. English manual for the TV was very helpful. Breakfast consists of bread, orange juice and coffee. Quite a nice hotel for such a cheap price.

we stayed 6 nights in this hotel to explore sapporo/otaru area. there is no sign outside the hotel in english (only japanese sign board). quite a walk from sapporo station (walk north direction from north exit of jr sapporo, cross a few streets and turn left when you see eneos petrol station on your left). kitajunijo (kita-12-jo) subway station is nearer to the hotel, and the station has elevator to the platform. it is a small hotel with nice staff. room is spacious, and there is also an internet pc at the lobby. breakfast is simple croissant and buns, with coffee/tea and orange juice. the main lobby door is closed at midnight, but there is a notice that says you can enter through the car park.

Have stayed here on numerous occasions. Consistency has been the key. Being located across the road from Nagashima Coen, The Park Hotel, and the subway makes this location very convenient. Susikino's nightlife, bars and restaurants are only a short stroll away, as is Odori park.
The hotel is neat and being somewhere to rest your head it manages that and more. The breakfast of juices, coffees and sweet bread with the occasional toast and fruit toast suffices. If you need more, convenience stores are nearby for milk coffees, fruit salad, yoghurt and assorted nuts.
The rooms are clean and neat, the staff efficient and friendly and all this for an economical price.

This hotel is close to Nakajima Park (Nakajima Koen), where the park itself is nice place to visit. It is a small hotel, hence service is more personalised. Overall service is courteous and friendly, though using English with the staff is challenging. The room size is adequate, but bathroom rather compact. The breakfast is simple with a spread of 4-5 different breads, salad, coffee, fruit juices. Unfortunately the breakfast selection remains the same throughout the 5 days I was staying there. Overall, it is very clean, and the daily room cleaning service is excellent. The wifi is good and strong, and free throughout the hotel! The hotel is a very short walk to a subway train station. The famed Susukino is 1 station away, in fact it is a straightline 10-15 minutes walk. Odori Park is 2 stations away, and takes you 20-25 minutes walking.

Selected a business hotel for economy and this one for location near the train station. It was very clean and met my needs. Wifi and AC were excellent. The room had no view but a widow that opened wide for fresh air. Breakfast was minimal with juice, coffee, and bread but they prepared "to go" for my early morning departure.

Clean; small rooms ; when check-in says 1500 it means 1500 - the idea of checking with the cleaners when it might be ready is not one to introduce ... A bit Hokkaido. But they're happy to keep your luggage and will even put it in your room for you). Breakfast a simple buffet affair with eggs, sausages, sweet breads and hot/cold drinks in a nice light room. Free reasonably good wifi.

My main plus is that it's a 5 minute walk north from the main station (well in my case 20 minutes with inappropriate travel shoes and a heavy suicase over the ice ... )

My main minus is that it's rather characterless.

So overall - OK, a straight three bubbles. I think when I booked it was also good value for money, but I booked in an odd week).

Located near Hokkaido university, at around 10 minutes walk from the JR Sapporo station. Quiet street. There's a small supermarket (Aeon) at one minute walk opened until 23:00.

There's a free breakfast until 9:30, but you'll only find toasts at 9, take your breakfast early for a chance to grab a mini croissant or two. Coffee was ok, but avoid the orange juice (served not cold, and industrial made taste).
The staff didn't seem to speak much English.

The room is simple, small but big enough for one person. There's no view from the window, not even the street or a parking, just a wall.

I had a problem with the TV in my room that didn't seem to work. I called the reception to explain the situation (in Japanese), the staff apologized very politely, hung the phone... But no one came to check the TV. I decided to try to fix it by myself and unplugged all cables in the back, and replugged all properly. It worked, but found dust and a used cotton swab between the desk and the TV set... gross.

The first night was terrible, I heard the person staying at the next room going to the toilet several times, and even the alarm clock at 6am and when this person took a shower.
I didn't have any neighbor the second night and could sleep better.

I had a note placed in my bathroom on the second day, I honestly didn't understand a word of it (check the photo).

I paid around 7000 yen a night, and for this price I expected much better. The overall experience was below the average.

I got a single ensuite room for only 3200 yen/night - very cheap for business hotels of its class! The location was not too far from Sapporo Station, unless maybe you're not used to walking.

Payment was done through a machine. Near the elevator, there's a cupboard where we could get the amenities like pajama that we need.

The room was clean and nice although as far as I remember I had a bit of difficulty in adjusting the temperature - but that could have happened in another hotel where I stayed in my trip... so don't take my word for this one.

The breakfast was simple but nice. After breakfast time is over, the dining room changes into a restaurant that offers meals that are quite large for its price.

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of my solo JP travel. Most of Japanese hotels offer solo rooms. Overall, book early to enjoy great price and nice location comparing other ones.
1st arrive, the location is a bit difficult to find. 10 Jo Nishi Kitaku, but actually the entrance is located at 11 Jo 11条. The main door is quite small. Japaness business hotel.
The payment need to be conducted at the arrival into a vendor machine, unique!! You could get a Japanses sleepy pajama at the mini lobby by the elevater along with some other items.
The room was small, not suprising. Clean. Basic things business style. Warm enough. Good shower available. No view. Quite at Night for good sleep.
The breakfast is the mini quick coffee place at 2nd floor with comforting decoration. Quite some different small breads, juice drinks and newspapers available.
The location is good. Less than 10 mins walk to the main station of the city (subway, JR and central bus station). Convience store arond the corner. Hokkaido university just next door. Great place to have a walk or run. The local special goods store in the university open later in weekends.Saw a dinasaur exhibition there but didn't have time to enter. Pity.

One of the top 100 places to stay regularly! Value for money, accessibility, and relaxation were all perfect.
The building itself looked old, but the bathroom was clean and the rooms were extremely clean. There was a welcome drink and breakfast included, it was cheap, and I'd like to stay here again if I come to Hokkaido University and Sapporo. Another plus point is that it's away from the city center.
