For Japan, this is a good enough sized room and it was clean and well located. Don’t expect 5 star accommodations given the price but bed was big enough, comfortable and we were able to request for extra towels and pillows. Water is potable. This is right across the JR Sapporo station, which is why we booked it. It had a small free onsen for guests which was open from 5pm to 2am and 5am to noon (not too sure till what time since I already checked out before 7). It was easier to shower in the onsen since it was roomier than the bathroom in the room. There were just 5 shower stalls and 2 sinks in the women’s onsen so it could get a little crowded. There is coin laundry and dryer in the men’s and women’s onsen area. It was 200yen for a load and 100yen per 30mins dryer use. There’s a microwave downstairs next to the vending machine and the free coffee in the lobby is pretty good. Breakfast was adequate. The restaurant onsite was pretty good. Nice ambiance, price same as other restaurants in the mall though the menu pics looked more generous than the actual portions served. Overall good place to stay esp if you want to be near the Sapporo station and easy access to the malls right across it.…
Average size room for a Japanese budget hotel. Decor is brown in brown. Bed rock hard. Note that while there is air conditioning, it cannot be adjusted to cool the room. It only heats. There is no air current and management's suggestion was to open the window. Trains are running by every 30 seconds, so that is not a very good option. The bathroom has this odd contraption where water from the tap is converted to the shower. Flimsy small towel.
Consider the nearest hotel/inn to JR Sapporo Station via North Exit with one Family Mart nearby. Room 1202 was located at lady floor. Not much surprised, twin beds with basic amenities. Room quite small no extra space for table nor chair. Free daily breakfast with direct booking thru Route Inn website. Lots of different Japanese dishes, 2 types of rice and even porridge served. Coffee taste bland, I think lobby free coffee taste much more nicer. Worth the value for this price and location in Sapporo Station.
After a business trip, i decided to stay here as i was alone and require easy access to the train station. The reception spoke little english. The hotel mainly caters to japanese business travelers within the country. I stayed for 3 days. The room was small for me to open up my luggage. I had to move the chair and humidifier aside to open my luggage. The humidifier was a bonus. They are into conservation efforts that they do not tidy up your bed at all no matter how long you stay. They will only clear the rubbish in your room. There is a big kerb from the toilet to the room which one had to be really careful. There is no free water in the room. They gave you coins to redeem a drink on the ground floor. The hotel was so quiet. There was free breakfast but ends at 9am. Quite a rush if you wanna catch it. Exit from the north exit to reach the hotel. On the whole, this hotel is only good for 1 or 2 nights maximum. Only bonus is the near distance to the train station. Instead, the opposite hotel, hotel WBF was so much better. I recommend that hotel instead. Luckily i booked 2 nights there to try and i changed hotel. The room that i got there was big and spacious.…
I had spent a couples of days at this hotel (Annex) last summer and returned this year. The location in front of the station makes it a perfect place to recover after the long journey from oversea. My room was first in the main building, floor 12 (women-only). It was indeed much better than the previous time. It was wider, had more natural light and toiletries were undoubtedly more refined. I was later given another room on the 13 floor which was even better. The staff at the front desk has greatly improved. They have been extremely kind and ready to assist. Two of them, a your lady and a guy, speak English. I once again recommend this hotel and plan to get back there next year.
I came with a relative and we asked for two keys because we planned to go out and come back at different time, but we were refused. Very unfriendly for people traveling like us, how could a hotel only provide 1 key? We will never come back !
Near to train station if you need to catch train often. Link to all the major shopping Malls. Free coffee at Front desk. Breakfast starts from 645am to 9am daily. Room do not have aircon during winter. You have to open the window to have cool air from outside. But warmer still need to be turn on in the night. Pillow bit hard. Can hear the train noice at night but still manageable . Over all good.
Very convenient location, close to JR and subway. In snowy weather, the underground tunnel brings you very far into the center of the city where shopping and dinning places are many. Not expensive. Love the small hot tub bath.
Picked this hotel mainly because of the location, basically to minimize walking in the cold, since my parents might not be able to take the cold for a long period of time. And just like what other travelers mentioned, it's literally a less than 5 mins walk from the JR Sapporo Station North Exit on the west side. We also tried the underground exit 8 from Level B2, which was also extremely convenient for people who would like to avoid the slippery icy road or to avoid getting shoes wet when the snow/ice melts. We stayed in the main building. Standard Japanese business hotel size and style. We are quite used to this kind of size. Although it was a little challenging to lay two 25 inch luggage on the floor at the same time but we managed to move the furniture around to create space. Bed was comfortable. Toiletries, towels, bathrobe, slippers were provided. I love to use their antimicrobial and odor removal clothing spray too. Coffee machine readily available at the lobby 24/7. Breakfast buffet was good with wide selection of food, although they don't change the menu a lot each day. I love the Hokkaido rice. Room was clean and cozy. No window view due to very close proximity to the building next door. Not too sure if it was because we stayed in a corner room, the room was always very chilly and it took time to warm the room up after we got back. Not too big of a problem for us, but might be difficult for people who can't tolerate the cold well. On the other hand, my parents' room next door was always too warm even though the heater was not even turned on. Wifi signal was strong and consistent even though we were the last room at the corridor. Guess they have a router in every room. Overall, will definitely recommend this mid range business hotel for my friends.…
Welcome hot coffee provided during check-in. Room are clean, neat & everything was in place. Convenience, next to JR train station. In-house Onsen. Good spread of Breakfast buffet. Most staff speaks good English.
