Though not exactly a 5-star luxury hotel, it is modern and cosy. The lobby and the restaurant are not large, but the decor is quite pleasing. The buffet breakfast offers more than adequate choices. You feel comfortable staying here. The hotel is in town centre and is close to shopping and food.

Stayed here for a few days as it was my first time in Sapporo. About a 15 minute walk from the main train station. 5 minute walk from the Susukino area where there’s plenty of restaurants, izakayas and night clubs. The room provided was in the corner. It felt like it was larger than your typical Fairfield Inn room. The heater was quite effective to the point I had to leave the windows open. My stay didn’t include breakfast, which was a bummer. I saw the spread and it looked fantastic. I would’ve payed for breakfast on my own, but the price was a little too steep for what it’s worth. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Sapporo.

Nice modern 4 star hotel, which seems to have been entirely refurbished. Nice breakfast at 2200yen pp. Rooms are small but functional and are better than web pics suggest. Recommend the higher floor rooms as you then get views over other buildings and some faraway mountains, Very well located near fresh seafood market, the posh shopping street etc. Negative point is that the restaurant is only open till 6 pm and only serves hot dishes till 230pm; after that, only afternoon tea items are served. In winter Sapporo is snowed under and icy cold. So it can be challenging to find a restaurant in the evening. Those nearby are small and all close early.

Our family stayed here during the Sapporo Winter Festival. Hotel is strategically located not busy area but close to everything specially the Tanukikoji Shopping Street. Rooms are basic and small ( usual in Japan) somewhat a bit dated but definitely clean. Banquet is simple, nice and well lit. Breakfast spread is nice and basic. Staffs are nice whenever we try to inquire about directions when going out.

It’s located just next to a big market and closed to a subway station. You can fine anything in there. Hotel seems very aged and it’s currently under construction. They have smoking and non-smoking rooms. If you need a non smoking you should request in advance. This hotel has only Japanese channels on TV or else pay movies. WI-FI is provided but strength is not strong.

Hotel is located near Tanukikoji Shopping Street, around 5 minutes walk. That's why we chose this hotel for a 1 night stay before moving on. There is some renovation works going on during my stay but other than that, nothing much to complain about. The hotel staff which attended to us does not speak English well, but is helpful and attentive to our needs. Parking is Y1500 per night (Well, this is Sapporo we're talking about). Overall, a good hotel for this price.

Good location- walking distance to Odori. We took the airport limousine bus which stopped nearby. I have to admit on first impression, was a bit disappointed at the look of some old stains on the curtains. The top bedspread also looked well worn, but everything was clean and comfortable, so it was fine. As mentioned by others, the room temperature cannot be set below 18C, but the problem is that it does not feel noticeably cool. The good thing is that we still slept well each night in early May with just the thin sheet on, but some days, the rising heat woke me up at 6:30am- our room was on the sunny side. Bathroom was great- lots of amenities, great shower pressure, and there's a neat anti-fog section of the mirror. Make sure you choose one of the 3 cleaning modes magnets available to stick outside your door, else they will do a full clean and top-up. We weren't bothered by any excessive noise during our stay.

We stayed in Sapporo Tobu Hotel during our recent vacation to Hokkaido. It was conveniently located around 10 minutes walk to the city center. The staff were extremely polite and patient. The lobby was very modern and had a nice ambience. The rooms were slightly dated but still very comfortable and clean. We stayed in a room which had 4 individual single beds. However there was barely enough room for our two 28inch luggage and we had to open them up on the floor. The bedroom slippers were not the disposable type but the hotel provided disposable slip-ins for the slippers to ensure hygiene. There’s also a Lawsons right next to the hotel so you can easily buy snacks and other sundries. Overall we highly recommend this hotel as a base during your visit to Sapporo.
