This is a lovely Japanese style hotel only about five minutes or so walk from the main JR Sapporo railway station. The hotel is clean and the breakfasts were good, it also has separate male and female onsen/baths, which is a great way to relax. Very nice hotel to stay at if you are planning to visit Sapporo in the future, and I would certainly recommend it.

Cross Hotel is in a great location, and is a beautifully designed comfortable city hotel. Traveled as a couple and would stay here again. The rooms are on the small side, but that's nothing new in Japan of course. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is very clean. We didn't eat at the hotel, as given its location there are plenty of places nearby to try for food and drink. Would recommend staying here for a short city break - it has all you need.

Cross hotel was our first stop of our 10 day Hokkaido trip. Chose it mainly due to location as it’s just a short 7-8 mins walk from Sapporo Station. Check in was a breeze and room was ready when we were there at 2pm. We booked the deluxe twin room which comes with a sofa bed. Room is a little tight typical of Japanese hotel but sufficient for our family of 4. What I love most about the room was the coffee grinder and coffee beans! I’m a coffee addict so grinding and brewing your own coffee every morning is a good wake me up. Onsen is on the top floor, not huge but good size, outdoor is just a small pool. Vanity area is equipped with Dyson hair dryer! Breakfast was optional and we didn’t opt for it since there’s plenty of choices around. The yakitori restaurant just outside the hotel is a must try! Reasonably priced and super yummy! Be prepared to wait though, limited seats inside. Very pleasant stay overall.

We spent 2 nights here for the snow festival. A lovely stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. As with all foreign countries, language can be fun but they try to help as much as possible just like I always find the Japanese, so wiling to help tourists. The onsen is great and the view amazing particularly if snowing as it has an outside open roof. The cross, higher floors are great (roomy by Japanese standards) and we enjoyed the free bar at 4pm before venturing out for dinner. A great location and close to everything. If looking for any ski gear we found the Sapporo Factory which is only a 10 min walk and a great selection of outdoor gear.

Recently stayed 5 nights at this hotel and second time in a Cross brand hotel. Whole experience was seamless and efficient. Extra benefits as Hotels.com Silver member. Staff can speak English and will try their best to help even if challenging to find the right words. The staff member who served us at check in was very friendly and greeted us daily when she is on duty. Free Happy Hours Drinks and Onsen is a ++ Would definitely go with a Cross Branded Hotel in the future.

I was expecting a "business hotel" when staying here. Sure, it met that standard, but it was so much better. Why? -> It met the key expectations - well thought through rooms, good service, central location for most of what you'd want to do. -> A bit above expectations were the tremendous roof-top onsen, that were extremely memorable, and the restaurant for breakfast. The buffet was not enormous, but excellent. -> Going significantly above and beyond is the bar at night. With complimentary drinks in the evening (not just one either), the food at the bar is amazing for the money. You can easily make this 'dinner'. Highly recommended.

Hôtel as a nice location but service is horrible ! 4 stars Hotel ??? Hum, I don’t know where they get it from ? Negative point : Super Poor quality of service .. Disgusting Breakfast ( coffee horrible, even can’t describe the quality of the food as it was unbelievable ) Room unclean ( Found used condom after we stay 2 nights behind the nightstand ) definitely not mine ... Bathroom very small No Air-condition in the room ! Hot like hell .. Very noisy room, can hear neighbors No room service No mini bar Very bad WiFi ( unstable) Lounge Bar open at 4pm for operation but don’t let you get in just to seat for read book or work on laptop ( I was there at 3:55 pm and they asked me to get out !!! Wow .. ) One morning I asked for a whisky ( 11:30 am ) and they said we don’t serve whisky at that time ! Shame for a country who has one of the best whisky in the world .. Super slow service at the reception Elevator unclean and wet all time Free flow 4/7 pm ( Beer / Wine / some spirit ) 6.30pm they already close off ? Why say 7 if they stop at 6.30 ?????? Staff impolite slow unprofessional OVER PRICE Positive point: Still looking for ... As mentioned it is definitely not a 4 stars hotel .. Avoid that place

The hotel is approx 10 minutes walk (few blocks away) from the Sapporo Station. It is also a few blocks away from the Sapporo tower and Odori Park. There're always plenty of restaurant choices around the area. The breakfast was decent with good selections. Room is clean and modern, and about typical size of any other average hotel room in Japan (typically smaller relative to western standards).

Stayed 1N at the property. The hotel is located 3 blocks south of JR Sapporo / BIC Camera which is a brisk 10 minute walk in the dead of winter. Checked-in and out without any drama. The double room was a tight fit for 2 persons - we had to take turns opening our suitcases. Be prepared to wake up with a neck ache - there was only 1 small very soft pillow per guest. Toilet was equally small. The property comes with free usage of the bathhouse, but guests must bring their own bath towels from the bedroom. The bathhouse had 2 hot pools - one outdoors and one indoors. Free wifi. Did not take breakfast.

Terrible hotel. Sad staff or angry staff especially @ the meetlounge probably due to bad management of the hotel. It’s not difficult to smile to guests who paid. Small rooms. I don’t recommend this hotel.
