Stayed 7 nights and the room had everything that I needed. Room has TV, air cleaner, hot pot, ice pot, toilet, and shower facility. Room was small, typical of Japanese hotels, but a bit larger than I had thought prior to the check-in. I was told that room is cleaned every fifth day if one stays longer than 5 days. However, I suspect that the room would be cleaned upon request. I was provided with amenities everyday. The lounge at B1 has a bunch of Japanese books and mangas, vending machines, coffee machine, microwave, and ice machine. The public bath was very clean and well-maintained, which I really enjoyed. One may have breakfast at Yayoi for 900 yen, but I did not try. Location is almost perfect, very close to Sapporo Station. For a solo traveler, definitely a go for JR Inn!…
The hotel location is excellent, just several minutes' walking distance from Sapporo Station, and best of all, you can use the underground pass and use the elevator at exit 23, and from there it is only around 200m to the hotel (or exit 22 if you do not mind walking the stairs, then it is only around 150m to the hotel). We stayed there in winter when it was snowing heavily outside, so we were very grateful for this. Less than 10 minutes' walk away are famous landmarks such as Sapporo Beer Factory, Sapporo TV Tower and Odori Park. The staff were all very patient, friendly and helpful. Room is quite standard sized for a Japanese hotel in the city, small but clean. I liked the fact that they have a wide range of pillows that you can freely choose from, and also that there are coin-operated washing machines and dryers available. Our rooms came with breakfast at the adjoining Yayoi restaurant. I am not sure whether it is standard for this hotel or whether it is because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but there was no buffet, and instead breakfast is available in only 4 fixed options (3 Japanese style and 1 Western style), which is the same every day. For example, no eggs, milk, cereal, etc. as what you might expect from a standard Western style breakfast, and the side dishes for the Japanese style options are also fixed so there is no variety. It is not a big problem for the average traveller just staying one or two nights, but having more variety would be nice for example when you are staying for more than a few days, or are a fussy eater. Children set meals are also available at very affordable prices.…
Location: near the station (7 min walk). A little difficult to find, especially because there is another JR INN nearby. I recommend seeing their website, with photos on how to get there. Room: beautiful! Right measures for two people and two small / medium suitcases. The bathroom was very nice and equipped with amenities. Equipped with kettle and fridge. I really appreciated the cleaning, attentive to the smallest details !! Check-in / staff: fast and simple Price: cheap! I'm very satisfied. Only bad thing: I would have preferred they gave more variety of tea, not just the green one
Staying 1-night in Sapporo before travelling on by train to Kushiro, I selected the JR Inn on the basis of price and proximity to the JR Station. What a good choice it turned out to be! In January with snow on the ground, the hotel is easily accessible from the underground passageway which mirrors the route South of the Toho Subway Line below. The entrance to the hotel is close by Exit 22 from this passageway, although if you have luggage I would suggest you take Exit 23; slightly further away, but has an elevator to street level. Having checked-in early evening, it was only a short walk back towards the Station for a good selection of restaurants for dinner and also a visit to the 38th floor of the JR Tower for a night viewing of Sapporo. The hotel was ideal for my short stop and I happily returned for another 1-night stay, a few days later when heading back to New Chitose Airport.…
the property is very convenient in the winter season which are walkable near by JR Sapporo Station, the restaurant, the shopping mall and the bus services to the mountain for visiting the ski/snowboard day trips around the Sapporo City. there are a very good breakfast services with the selections of Japanese Styles at Yayoi Restaurant inside the property. The hotel rooms are in a good sizes for the semi double bed and two twin bed with all amenities to be well accommodate our family of 4 persons during the Snow Festival Season.
Convenient location to Sapporo Station and surrounding restaurants. Rooms were very clean and large. Pillow selection was great. Check in was smooth and staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel especially for its price.
Booked the hotel for 2 nights stay with not much expectation given that it is not a global name hotel chain. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the service and quality provided in terms of the rooms, facilities and location.
LOCATION: Close to subways, restaurants and sight seeing. ROOM: Very compact room and compact bathroom, . Bed is comfortable. No closet; but hooks on the wall. Room is clean. LAUNDRY: There is a coin-op-laundry facility on the lower level with comfortable waiting area. STAFF: Friendly and helpful. Spoke English very well. Very helpful with city, bus and subway directions. Staff made an appointment for wife at a nearby hair salon. BREAKFAST: Restaurant adjacent to hotel. Offered choice of several breakfast combos. Pay at hotel desk and proceed to restaurant. Quality of food very good. OVERVIEW: Good hotel. May have larger rooms: we booked late with limited selection. Was a good experience!
We stayed here to watch the Australia v Fiji rugby game and found the hotel well located for easy access to the Odori Park for the rugby Fanzone activity and also walking distance for the free shuttle bus to the stadium. Sapporo is a gentle, pretty town to navigate on foot and the many convenience stores kept us in stock of beer, mineral water and plenty of snack foods. There was a 'lounge area' in the basement of the hotel with free tea and coffee on tap, but not very comfortable seating. The Yayoi restaurant beside the hotel was perfect for quick easy delicious meals, once you had managed to work the 'ordering vending machine'!!
This hotel located in good location. You can walk from Sapporo station to hotel with in 10 mins. Staffs can communicated in english and so helpful. Room is small for me but essential amenities are set up in the room. Convenience store (Lawson , Family Mart) are near by with short walk. From hotel, you can walk to Odori Park , Susukino area in 15 mins. Also you can explore the city by Subway is very easy access from hotel.
