We booked a room on Expedia. The hotel is located in a convenient location, the room is reasonably spacious for just a two night stay. The staff at check-in were not that welcoming and the view from our room was almost insulting. We looked out onto some sort of machine with pipes. The AC was ineffective and we had to sleep with the windows open, hence we both caught colds. The only positive aspect of this hotel was the friendly bell captain. We wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
Great location, close by a lot of Sapporo sights and shopping. Comfortable room, with comfy beds. Like all other Japanese hotels I've stayed at on my current tour, this one had the same small emergency flashlight. Great idea! The breakfast buffet was quite extensive and varied.
It's about 10 mins walk from Sapporo JR station. You can also go via the underground tunnel and exit by 22 too. Hotel room is quite spacious and housekeeping did a fantastic job... Foreigners are treated with respect (unlike some smaller hotels who serve mainly Japanese guests) and their staff speak relatively good English. Highly recommend either for business or leisure stay
This is full-service hotel as 5 stars. Easy to access location, right by the station. You can have the regional foods for breakfast.
Dated hotel but room refurbished though toilet not so. Was generally clean and service was good. Walking distance to Sapporo station. Hokkaido liner picks from hotel lobby to ski resorts, hence very convenient.
Chose the hotel on its location (near to Sapporo station and pick up point for shuttle to ski resort which is my following destination) and then availability of 4 bedded room. Short walk that could have been easier if it’s not winter (with snow covering the roads). The exterior of hotel looks good but you can feel that overall deco is still in 1980s once you step into hotel. The room is really outdated and can do with refresh of furniture but it’s clean. Our room is relatively big for japan standard.
Don't believe all you see on the website. We booked a room for 4 people. On the website, the quad rooms looked new and nicely furnished. In reality, we were given one that was old and dated looking. Size-wise, the room was decent. The view was non-existent. It opened out onto an office building which was barely five metres away. We only took it for a night and got in late, so can't say much about the rest of the hotel. Overall, the location was within walking distance of Sapporo station, with some of the way sheltered underground. It was also a 5min walk to Odori Park. So points for location, but not much else. Good for a night's rest but don't expect more.
Location is within walking distance to Sapporo Station and Odori Park. However, the room was cramped and feels cheap in terms of material and design. Beds were uncomfortable. Reception service was uneven. I encountered one sourly reception staff on arrival. But subsequent encounter with other staff was not a problem. All in all, I would stay away from this hotel on my next visit.
We always choose to stay here whenever we are in Sapporo. Yes the hotel is a little dated but they have gradually upgraded the rooms. Our room on the 13 floor is spacious n toilet a bit small but u get your hot showers with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel n basic amenities provided like toothbrush n shower cap. They clean the room very well. Bfast is good with western n Jap spread but ends till 10am abit early. Location wise is closed to JR train station and shopping area within 10 mins walk. Staff are friendly. Manager Sayuri San is accomodating n efficient. Always give good restaurants recommendation n helps with the booking. Highly recommended.
very good location. walking distance to sapporo station, shopping centres and a few tourist attractions. the hotel itself is a bit dated and has the smell of old hotel. the staff were quite friendly..
