Everything good about this place except bathroom is exceptionally small even by Japanese standards. I’m small so god knows how anybody of 90kg plus got on the toilet. Clean, quiet, efficient. All one expected from a hotel of this class.
Good location near Sapporo Station at reasonable price S$187 for Friday one night stay. Nearby will be Meltz hotel . Lobby look shabby, didn’t have high expectation for the room. Unexpected good outcome when I entered the room. Room was bigger than average Japanese room. Mine was triple room since we have 3 people. I think room undergo renovation b4. Carpet was new , so r the furniture. Toilet provides all the toiletries n water pressure was good . Given that price that I paid for; this is beyond my expectation . Room check in was only available at 2 pm although I reach at 12 pm .
This hotel is ok for an overnight stop. Hotel interior and fittings are old, room and ensuite smell musky, and beddings while clean are not comfortable. On the plus side, everything in the room and ensuite worked well.
Have booked for my last 2 days in Hokkaido with family of 6. Was duly disappointed the moment I arrived at the drop off area. No assistance to help us for our luggages and even after we check in there was no assistance too. I have three elderly women and two kids with me. Next was the toliet. I got a shocked to see the stains left inside the toliet bowl and the floor carpet was not clean as well. The room airconditioner was not working and we have to call the front desk in the middle of the night. There was no fan in the whole hotel !! I will recommend this hotel only for their location but not their service and cleanliness.
Like any hotels in downtown Japan, the room is small. However, according to Japanese standard, it's very clean and tidy with all amenities needed. It's just a walking distance from Sapporo station. So you don't have to suffer walking a long way in winter since underground passage is quite close the hotel. I think it's one of the cheapest hotels comparing with other hotels in the same level in this area.
Decided to sneak away from my group and booked this place on the train to Sapporo from the airport. Close to the main subway train station and reasonable in price. The breakfast ($) was well stocked and buffet style. Front staff spoke minimal English but way better than my Japanese. Room was small but adequate. Great for my stay.
2nd time staying at the place. I have chosen this place as its location is excellent. It is less than 10 minutes walk from Sapporo TV tower and five minutes away from the Toyota rental car office. The room is small, compact but cleanliness is excellent. Highly recommended.
Friendly and helpful staff.Location is fantastic 5mins to JR Station, Shopping belt Daimaru ,Tokyu Marui imai Tanuki Koji you can shop till you drop .Walking distance to Odori Park Saporro clock tower and beer museum. If tired of walking then hop into tram car that goes round central city of Sapporo.
I have stayed in different cities of the Sunroute hotel chain. In fact, I applied for their membership card. However during our last stay, my sweater fell between the beds and so I sent them an email regarding the item left behind. They did not even bother to answer my emails. I sent them another email with a picture of the sweater. Again no reply. We got a triple room and it was so crammed up. We stayed at different nightly hotels during our stay in Hokkaido but this is the smallest room. It was probably good for a twin room and very little space to walk around much less opening the luggages. The hotel is quite near the Sapporo Station and walking to the hotel is easy even with the luggage. The good thing is they accept luggage for safekeeping. But will not come back here anymore.…
Conveniently located close to JR Sapporo station and shopping/dining/convenience stores. Well equipped rooms, cosy rooms with smaller bathrooms but normal for Japan. Free high speed wifi as standard. Basic room amenities and plentiful toiletries. Front desk staff always friendly and helpful. Overall a very pleasant stay!
