Very relaxed, yet social atmosphere. Friendly and fun staff. Good amenities. I slept well. Good for English speakers! I ended up extending my stay to do a bit more in Sapporo, was an easy decision as the hostel was so good.
Such a cozy and comfortable place, sleeping arrangements were fine. Spacious space to sleep. Cozy living room in 2nd floor. Social lounge/shisha downstairs where you can have a drink/shisha and chill after a long day in Sapporo. Its 10 min far from the nearest subway, but Sapporo is pretty walkable anyways. Assi, the manager, is a really friendly, cool, vibrant and nice person to know, he made my 4 nights stay memorable, he makes sure that everyone is in his/her element and that guests are comfortable. Thanks a lot Assi for your amazing hospitality.
The staff was really friendly to me, sleeping area is cozy and I spent the one night I stayed there at the hostel bar smoking shisha and having a few drinks. Really good place to meet people. One of my favorite hostels in Japan, would definitely go back if I return to Sapporo.
This really is a social hostel, I made friends literally 5 minutes after walking in. People are often chilling out in the common area or downstairs (when the bar is open). The location is great, a short walk from the main drag of Suskino but far enough away to be quiet. Facilities are very nice and clean, while the beds are surprisingly comfortable. I can't say enough about the staff. Assi, Ayano, and Kaori areally all incredibly helpful and genuinely interesting people to talk with. If Shisha is your thing, Assi makes it pretty well. Will definitely be staying here the next time I'm in town and recommending it to all my friends. Thanks for making my stay awesome!
This is a very friendly hostel with nice bed cubbies and a relaxing bar area. It's in a good location as well. Would highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a laid back and social atmosphere.
The Hostel is located in a very covenient area if you want to go see what sapporo has to offer. The sleeping area is nice and cozy, the same goes for the common area. The bar is a Great place to either start a night out out, or relax with a drink after a Day of sightseeing. The People in the staff Are very nice and outgoing, wanting to chat and play some Games.
I stayed here for only one night but had a great time with the staff and other guests, we also went out together. I could choose if I wanted the upper bed or lower. I chose lower. but it was so cold in there! The beds/cabines feel like a little wooden box you can crawl in stooping. A curtain to close, mine was a bit ripped and too small. The bedding is very comfortable. But the cabine was just too cold. So I asked if I could move up and I could as it was free. There it was cozy and comfy and I slept very well. With just one shower and one toilet it was a bit busy but ok. It is a good location, walkable to Susukino and the arcades. The bar in the lobby is a nice place :)
Amazing staff, great price and great atmosphere. Within walking distance of most of downtown and the night life area. Also just a few subway stops away from Maruyama park and Zoo and Hokkaido Shrine. Nice and cozy bar on the first floor with amazing prices on drinks(half the cost per drink then any bar in Japan). Meet some other great guests and had some nice conversation. Super clean. Will stay at again if in Sapporo.
When I visit Sapporo, I usually stay at my friend's house That's because I don't have to pay any money. However, this guest house made me very relaxed, so this is the best house ever. It's worthwhile paying money to stay in Sapporo!!
A great location, pretty much right in the heart of Sapporo, only a few minutes walk from Oodori Park and Susukino, and easy access to the public transportation. The staff provided a really nice atmosphere and had many excellent recommendations for the area. The prices for both the rooms, and the bar downstairs are hard to beat, the bar in particular is a great place to unwind after a long day, and as a first time solo traveler, really helped me get my feet wet and meet some great people.
