First time in a ryokan! Very nice and friendly host, could drop our luggage in the morning and the luggage was in our room when we cam back from sightseeing. Location excellent, near all major sights. Our room for the three of as was a little small but okay Very clean!!

Chizuru Ryokan is good for what it is - a fairly basic ryokan centrally located right around the corner from the Peace Park and shopping/restaurants on Hon-dori. The owners were very nice and gracious, accepting our luggage far before check-in time and waking up early to make sure we caught our taxi at 5:30am. The ryokan itself is a bit...

Chizuru was our first ever experience with a ryokan so we weren't sure what to expect beyond what we'd seen/read online. Now that we've stayed at a number of ryokan I can say that this one rates a 3.8, not great but definitely decent. The bad: a little dark, somewhat nondescript neighbourhood. The good: large room for three people, nicely...

Traditional 'chep' ryokan (tatmi mats room with futons) with pretty perfect location in Hiroshima. Within walking distance from the memorial park and near one of the major shopping areas (close to the Hondori shopping arcade) . The streets around are full of eating places.

We were 5 to stay there. As it's quite a small ryokan, we were the only ones to stay there so it was really convenient. The place was perfectly located, close to everything and the owner was super nice and useful. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again and recommend everyone to go there!

The Ryokan is only few tram stops from train station, it...

We only stayed here for 1 night. It was our first of many Ryokan stays so we weren't sure what to expect. We had a huge room downstairs with our futons set up for us when we went in. Simple rooms with tatami mats and not much else. Slept very well in the dark room with comfortable bedding and soon...

It's very close to the trolley bus station fukoro-machi, trolley 1 from train station, cross to left, then walk back until next street, it's behind a family mart store. Owners friendly Japanese couple, the ryokan is really what I expected. Clean, tidy, slept well although pillow is like a rock! I tucked mine under mat. No breakfast but a tea...

We have recently spent 3 nights at Chizuru Ryokan with our 2 children aged 10 & 11. The location was great for walking around the main sights, restaurants, coffee shops and a supermarket just around the corner. Also very and easy to catch the street car No. 1 to and from the JR railway, station. The room was a great size...

We stayed as a family with two teenagers. I will admit at first they were not impressed with the simple style accommodation and shared bathroom (even though I had warned them) although it was probably more an issue that they were sharing a room with their parents! Anyway they soon relaxed and enjoyed the ryokan (as we did) for the...
