J-Hoppers Hiroshima was a great place to stay. It is in a good location, close to the Peace park and in a very walkable neighbourhood. We found it very comfortable and communal. Our mixed dorm was divided into comfortable little pods which felt quite private. The communal room was comfortable and very welcoming with lots of travellers using it. Free...

This was the greatest hostel I have ever stayed in. Could be a hotel by the looks of it. Super clean, modern, new facilities. Everything absolutely wonderful. My friend and I stayed in a private Japanese style room and it was clean and comfy. The bathrooms were great, good showers, clean toilets wonderful sinks. Staff spoke very good Englishman the...

Comfortable self-contained bunks more spacious than normal hostel beds, plenty of room to keep your bags next to you without having to sleep on them, several outlet plugs next to each bed, curtains for privacy. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the kitchen/lounge/common area is a great place to cook, eat and chat to your fellow travellers. Super convenient...

J. Hoppers was a choice made after 2 days in Hiroshima, and unable to find a hotel on a Saturday night, which was reasonably priced. We have used hostels before, and were content with our choice of J. Hoppers. Our two-person tatami room on the fourth floor was spacious enough for 2 persons, sliding glass doors opened out onto a...

I loved being able to walk right down to the Peace Memorial Park, with a ten minute or less walk to both the tram and the Maple Loop Bus. The capsule-style bunks felt very private and cozy and sound didn't leak through from the next bed over. Thank you to the friendly staff who provided local information and was very...

Cosy comfy and great staff with great local knowledge. Right beside peace park which is very somber. Top class hostel also kept very clean. Highly recommended. Would stay again if I find myself in this part of the world.

I stayed in a shared room for 2-nights. It's a great affordable option, the staff were very helpful at check-in with neighborhood recommendations. My bed was private (more private than typical hostels), with clean sheets and very clean. The full kitchen and common area had everything you'd need to prepare a meal. With the location near Hiroshima's local trolly car...

My wife and I are traveling around Japan and found J-Hoppers on a quick hotel search. We definitely don't regret it. Let me explain the positive points: Staff was well informed and friendly. The rooms were clean and adequate. The kitchen was large, clean and well provisioned. We are traveling on a budget and going out to eat constantly in...

The "J-Hoppers" chain is spread out across five towns in southern Japan, including Hiroshima, and it is also likely the cheapest accommodation one will find in any of these towns. However, given the sparsity of them, it seems that the "discount" one gets from visiting them several times becomes slightly redundant; if not purely a long-term goal. The Hiroshima branch...

The beds in the dorms are brilliant - very private (walls on 3 sides like a capsule) and super spacious, with enough room to take your backpack in there. Extremely clean as well, and great location for sightseeing.
