Location: Great location. Walking distance to the town and train station Hot Springs: Public and Private ~ highly recommend the private one (Asagiri - 9 time slots JPY4,100 for 50 minutes with max. 5-6 people and Yugiri - 8 time slots JPY3,100 for 50 minutes with max. 3-4 people), very reasonable price but limited time slot, MUST reserve it in...

This is the second visit to Hyoe Koyokaku hotel in Arima since 2015. The service is even better. The hotel staff are well trained with great hospitality. Dinner at Hana no Mai restaurant is special with local cuisine, abundant, and above all, the famous soft kobe steak is cooked and served . Three onsen pools are exceptionally well maintained, authentic...

We had stayed in traditional Ryokan and it is the first time we are trying a Ryokan Hotel. Hyoe Koyokaku certainly is one of the higher end hotel that offers great services and facilities. Certainly popular with both locals and tourist, the staff had mastered the process to be efficient. Check-in is 3pm (and not a minute earlier). While there...

I would have given four stars for the quality of the onsen baths, food and service but for the poor handling of some noisy guests in the room above mine past midnight that prevented me from sleeping (see the end of this review below). I stayed for two nights at Hyoe Koyokaku to enjoy the famous Arima Onsen mineral waters...

My husband and daughter went to this hotel last November after the Osaka Marathon. They have a thumb up for it. When we planned for the Chinese New Year trip, my husband suggested going there again. Received a email reminder few days before the check in. Quick response with the information I requested. Easy access by train from Osaka. Reached the Arimaonsen station, luckily the ryokan shuttle service was picking up other patrons. Informed the driver and then he returned within 4 minutes. Hyoe Koyokaku was chosen for our stay as its website provided the most details in English.
