Complimentary pickup from the train station is provided but we were happy to lug our luggage up the steep hillside...

I know this hotel from forum on the internet. I think the hotel was very nice. It's not a 5 starred-hotel but the service and hotel facilities are all over expectation. Breakfast and dinner set are so good, we picked Japanese style.

Stayed at the south building. My package included private hotspring for 50 minutes and buffet dinner/breakfast. After booking online, the ryokan emailed me to check my preferred time for private hotspring and they arranged a non-smoking room as per my request. I went here with my sister for 1 night. We took a direct bus from Osaka. The bus stop was around 5min walk from Hyoe Koyokaku.  We have to say that the stuff from the front desk were really nice and explained very well to us all the details. Our room should have been on the west building but we had a surprise,...

The room is Japanese style, very elegant and comfortable. They offered bathrobe or, in Japanese, yukata. And the hot spring in the hotel is really good and special which has three colors. And you can relish yourself in some massage afterward. We all enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Highly recommend!
