    Staying at Shunkoin was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me! Shunkoin is located in a large temple complex in northwest Kyoto. The accommodations are Japanese-style, simple, clean, peaceful, and very quiet. Breakfast is not included, but there is a kitchen and common space for your use....More

    Shunkoin Temple guest house let you experience the simple living style in a Buddhist temple. Yet, this temple also provides classes and teaching ZEN philosophy and meditation technique. The classes are in English and open to the public and affordable.
