Great location by Kyoto train station. The train station has so many options to eat. We stayed 5 nights so we got to learn the station pretty good. The room is small as expected and the beds were hard, but we did like the tubs to soak in after all the walking. Pajamas are okay to lounge in or wear when you do laundry. Just not to sleep in. We did laundry early before breakfast, we were lucky one was available. You need change, they wash & dry. You can put a code to lock it, just be sure to be there before time is up to be courteous and take it out. Clothes felt damp, but it's because it steams at the end. Most were dry, we hung a couple of things on hangers to dry. You get toothbrush, toothpaste, razer, comb, q-tips and there are more items in lobby like hair oils, bath salts, creams. Breakfast buffet was okay. Seems scrambled eggs in all Japan are a little runny.

I love this hotel! We traveled from Tokyo by Shinkansen so wanted to find a convenient hotel by the station. This hotel was located across the station and a short walk. We had no inconvenience pushing our luggages from the station. There were all kinds of restaurants and fast food just around the hotel and Donki was right behind (3mins walk). The feeling of stepping into the lobby was great because the receptionists would greet you from afar with a nod(every single time!) and of course because it was spacious, clean and cozy. The room that we had was executive double room with kind bed and it was big! Really nice firm bed with 4 pillows. The room also had a very long desk behind the bed for doing work if you were here on business. There was also a massage chair in the room which was much needed as there was so much walking to do in Kyoto! The toilet was big and the bathtub area was very spacious. We didn’t have to buy any bath salt as they were available in the hotel lobby. The lobby had an area where you could pick up bath salt, facial toner, cream, hair oil, coffee, tea, combs, basically whatever you needed. The standard toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner and body wash were all available in the room. There were also bathrobes and pyjamas! We opted out from housekeeping for our 4 nights here but they would deliver clean towels and bottles of water daily. Overall, I am loving this hotel and would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Kyoto!

Connected to Kyoto station but it is not easy to find when you are underground, it is easier to find if you walk along the roads. Then after that you go to the train station via underground & you will know the way.
Great to find a room that can accommodate family of 4 comfortably. Cleanliness of the hotel is good overall.
Buffet breakfast is simple but substantial. Coffee was disappointing. Nice touch to provide to-go cups!
Another nice touch was to have tea bags, drip coffee bags and shavers at the lobby for one to help themselves to.
Yodobashi is just next door, has a great supermarket, Can Do, Uniqlo & Burger King etc. There's also a YEBISU Bar that serves great food and beer at reasonable prices.
Kyoto Tower next to Yodobashi where the tourist info counter is, you can also book Sagano Romantic Rail ride there with a small service fee.
Do not bet on early check-in.

Really nice hotel. The lobby is very nice and they have an amenity table with lots of amenities for free. It was nicely decorated for autumn and while I was there, they were transitioning to Christmas decor. My original room had one bed, and felt a bit tight. I upgraded after the first night to a room with two beds that had more room to move around, and I could lay out my stuff on the second bed. But both rooms were very clean and comfortable with nice bathrooms. I like the shoji screen window covers and that I could open the window a bit for fresh air. Check-in and check-out were easy and fast. Service was good; staff had enough English to make everything easy. One morning, I ate breakfast in the restaurant and I felt that there was a good selection of yummy food and the price was reasonable. This hotel is about six blocks from Kyoto station, so not too far, but also not too close. It is in a good area and I felt safe and comfortable there. I thought the price was reasonable and a good value. Recommended!

Rooms are new and the room that i booked included a massage chair which is great. Having laundry room witj washer/dryer machine is great too!
However so minus points: 1) They have a strange policy that they do not make up your room after 130pm. So if you leave hotel after 130pm, you will not have your room made for the day. 2) Check out time is 11am which is not the usual timing we are used to and reception didn’t highlight this to us during check in ( they expected us to read the T&C notes they gave us during check in). So they called me at 11am to ask me what time we are checking out, they informed that i will have to pay ¥1000 if i check out at 12pm. So in my scramble we only managed to check out at around 1145am and they wanted to charge the ¥1000. Credit to them they decided to waive off the ¥1000 charge but not after some arguments with them which left a bad taste from the overall experience. 3) Each person is only entitled to 1 bottle of water per night. Any extra is chargable (some hotels charge, some don’t).

We chose to stay in this hotel mainly due to its proximity to the central station since every morning we planned to leave for trips with the shinkansen. I must say perfect choice: the hotel connects underground to the central station, you can be there in 5 minutes on foot. Location: Hotel is located close to Kyoto Central Station. You can access the hotel directly from the station via underground passage. You don’t even have to go outside on the street. Family Mart is close by, so you don’t have to worry about drinks/food. You can also access huge Yodabashi shop in 1 minute from the hotel exit (also via the same underground). Close proximity to trains via Kyoto Station, busses and metro.
Lobby area: Free amenities (shaving equipment, toothpastes, brushes, soaps and all) and tea of your choice
Rooms: Room was located on the upper floor, it was Executive Twin Room with 1 Sofa Bed - Non-Smoking. It was clean and spacious. Kid was sleeping on the sofa and we had two single, but very big and comfortable beds. It was cleaned on daily basis and towels were refreshed. The wifi was amazing and super-fast free of charge in the entire hotel.
Elevators: fast and modern, quick
Restaurant: Big and indoors. Buffet style with many choices, Asian (Vietnamese) food with lot of choices like pho soup (my personal fav), karaage and others. Fresh and tasty.
Pool area: There is no pool in this hotel
Staff: very friendly as usual in Japan

We were really happy with our stay at this hotel. It was one of the few hotels available that could accommodate a family of four (teens) in one room. It was a bit cozy with luggage, but we all had separate beds and were comfortable. We didn’t take advantage of them on laundry, but that is a plus. Staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. Also liked that there were two buildings immediately north and south with large food courts where you can order many different types of Japanese favorites!

The reason I gave 3 stars is the location, which is very close to the station, restaurants, commercial areas and accessible to a lot of important places to see, so a big point. The rooms were clean, the services very good, staff very polite, so other great points. But the temperatures in the hallways and restaurant was terrible, there weren't more than 15C degrees. The air conditioning in the restaurant was working non stop, you could feel a flow of cold air all the time. The breakfast was mostly Japanese style, so in my case I had almost nothing to eat as I am used to eating western-style breakfast. Out of the four days I stayed there, I had to skip the breakfast two times because of lack of options. The matress and pillows were very hard and not comfortable at all.

If you have stated 3 person in the booking, you should get 3 beds. I have a family of 4 and i got 4 single beds. Not sure about executive rooms but the hotel is a low floor building and my windows open up to next building which is Yodobashi. So don't expect any views.
