Had a good stay and enjoyed the in-house onsen very much. It was our first time and it was totally relaxing. The Japanese breakfast o both days was a very nice change from the normal buffet breakfast. Would suggest that the hotel add more TV channels or at least have an English news channel!

Highly recommended hotel for those who do not mind a more westernized lodging even in Kyoto. The location, just a 3 minutes walk from JR Kyoto station, make travelling around, from, and to Kyoto a breeze. Rooms are spacious and equipped with a large bath tub. The wash basin, toilet and shower areas are conveniently separated. The Japanese style bento...

I stayed here for one night and it was a perfectly relaxing experience. I'd just come from KIX, and was tired from lugging around my two big bags and two smaller bags (relocating internationally, am I right?). The baths are open late and I headed straight up and spent an hour relaxing. Another reviewer suggested that the baths aren't spring...

Thank you very much for all your review. We are very glad to hear good comments from you. Many guests like our breakfast, Japanese set menu with Onsen Tofu. Regarding for our staff's communication skill, now we are still on training of it as well as English. Every day we try to do make our guests comfortable during staying with...

We found the staff very friendly and accomodation. Having arrived midday they kindly held our bag. On check in the bag had already been put in our room and the air conditioning turned on. We were each given a frozen hand cloth on registration which was very much appreciated in the 30 degree heat! The room is spacious and comfortable....

The staff where awesome. They spoke great English. We got there early so they took our bags so we could go explore. When we came back our bags where already in our room. The room was perfect for us. Onsen was very clean and felt great. The price of onsen was very inexpensive. Would stay again close to the trains,...

I stayed here because it is close to Kyoto station. Rooms were expensive despite being post-sakura. The hotspring appears to be a traditional-style bathhouse and I believe it is just hot tap water. Also, the hotel charges extra for use. It is a small amount, but an unwelcome hidden charge. The standard Japanese style room is small, and the next...

Thank you very much for your staying with us. Our hot spring is natural hot spring (not tap water). However original hot spring is very strong iron and brownish color. It is too hard to keep clean and maintenance. So we add some water for your skin. It becomes clear color and no incense of sulfur. We hope everyone enjoy...

The Japanese people love to visit hot springs, or onsen. Bathing in mineral waters of onsen helps to cure many diseases and relieve stress. It is believed that it not only cleanses the body physically but also spiritually. There more than 200 volcanoes in Japan, some of which are currently active. The ground water that comes in contact with the...

I got a free room upgrade to a very spacious twin room with a large sitting area. The hot spring is amazing! It is very large with plenty of shower spaces. The hotel is very clean and staffs are very friendly. The location is ideal with a few minutes walking distance to the train station.

Thank you very much for your staying with us. We have 102 rooms and 54 rooms are Western Japanese style which you did stay at this time. Due to a change of plans we suddenly had to book a hotel in Kyoto for the night with no notice. I was scanning a bunch of sites and mainly coming up with either cheap hostels or ordinary rooms that cost more than $200 per night. Then at the last minute a room at this place popped up, and we...

This hotel is conveniently placed for anyone coming into the city by train as it's only a block from the train station and easy to find. It's modern & minimal as you would expect from a Japanese Hotel. The room was simply furnished but ultra clean and the beds comfortable. Lovely bathroom as well. Although we don't go on holiday...
