We loved our stay here! The rooms are clean and the staff is great. The gym is also nice and clean, and there is laundry available. This hotel is a bit of a walk from popular dining areas (20 minutes), but there is a train a block away that is very easy to manage and connects you to the rest of the city. We thought this was a great value for the cost.

It is in a great location, 5 minute walk from the metro stop, and only a 20 minute pleasant walk to Teramachi. The hotel is very new, modern, and clean with lovely decor and ambiance. The twin room I had was typical size for Japan, but I still had enough room to open my luggage.
A few minuses--the stairwells aren't accessible, so you always have to take the elevators. The walls are extremely thin. I heard my neighbors simply talking inside their room, and I could hear every thud and movement. The restroom had very few fixtures to hang anything, and there were flimsy adhesive hooks stuck to the shower door that kept falling off. The street noise could get a bit loud even though there was a building between my room window and the street.
I liked the in-room coffee selection and the lobby bar seemed nice, but I didn't get a chance to try it.

Stayed 6 nights . Very good service and awesome organization for our check in! We were here in 4 rooms and 7 people. Very kind people and very modern and clean hotel! The location is few blocks from the subway and a lot of convenience stores and some restaurants on the nearby streets including some good ones !

The staff was very friendly and helpful for any of our needs. The rooms were very clean, and kept so. The hotel is well located to have easy access to the subway and also in walking distance to different areas with restaurants and shopping. The restaurant had a limited menu but it had vegetarian (and maybe even vegan?) options, including a gluten free tea-time option.

We stayed at this hotel because we stayed at Park hotel earlier in Otaru. Unfortunately, because it was a busy time, this was the only room left. It 's on the 4th floor facing the street. I wore earplugs to sleep, but that did not drown out the stop/go traffic of a big street down below. I've stayed at hotels on busy streets before, but the earplugs and double glazed windows usually cut out the noise. So I wonder if these windows are double paned/glazed???
All I know is that I slept miserably and would not stay here again. If you are a light sleeper, get a guarantee that they'll put you on the quiet side or a much higher floor. I paid about US $220. I would find a hotel off the busy street next time.
The room itself was fine, a little small. When we asked if we could move to another room, they told us nothing as available, but offered me a free drink at the breakfast area, but unfortunately the espresso machine was broken...

This was our last night of a 3-week trip to Japan, so we can compare our experience here with many other hotels. While all of the hotels had excellent service, we especially appreciated the warm hospitality and helpfulness of the staff at this hotel. Our room was a very good value for the cost: the bed was very comfortable, the bath functioned well and was as clean as anywhere we have stayed in Japan (far cleaner than any hotel in the USA). We also appreciated the convenience of the location: only a few blocks to the subway, and a short walk to Nijo Castle. There are many restaurants and convenience stores in the neighborhood. If we ever return to Kyoto we would stay here again.

The room was always spotless thanks to daily cleanings. They have modern design with a touch of Japanese flair. The wooden platform beds are very comfy. The showers are very spacious.
The main hall of the hotel is versatile: you can eat their food or your own uber eats. I used it also to work on my laptop, it has a thoughtful layout and design - perfect for remote working. Wi-fi is excellent.
The bar in the lobby has a wide selection of great Japanese whisky and the atmosphere is cool but relaxed.
The staff speaks perfect English and they were incredibly helpful when they helped me with another booking speaking Japanese. Got also great recco for local restaurants and attractions that are less known to the public.

We pick Park Hotel for our stay in Kyoto because it’s close to subway station, but it’s quite a bit of walk to shopping and dinning area. Condition and amenities are average for this price range. The hotel is relatively new or recently renovated, but cleanliness is questionable. We found hair in bathroom when we checked into our room, there were many debris on carpet. Towels and pillow case have a very unpleasant smell like they haven’t been changed from previous guest. To make things worse we couldn’t sleep well because of the noise from the street. I just can’t recommend this hotel to anyone because we had too many issues with our stay.
