I stayed here with my 12 yr old daughter for two nights. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms were spacious compared to others in Japan, there was even a massage chair in the room! Short walk to Gion and popular temples, I recommend walking around...More

Location is good, Gion district is within walking distance. Bus stops right in front of Hotel. Bedding is comfortable. Rooms are small even for Japan standards. The worst was waiting in line for Breakfast that was included in package deal.

Sorry, did not fly in Japan - used their brilliant rail system which was great fun. The trains are very fast, always on time, immaculate and they only sell tickets with an allotted seat so none of that standing room only... More
