I loved this place! It was near the station and on the route of the buses that takes you to the main temples, besides the lady that runs it is very kind and nice. The place is very clean and comfortable

The single room is comfortable with air con / heating system and wifi in the room working fine. The shared toilet is clean but freezing( i been here in December) the communal shower room is also clean, have only one on the ground floor though!...More

A great no-frills ryokan near Sanjuusangendoo in Kyoto. Clean rooms. I always stay in the 3 and one half mat room as it is very cozy, but it does not have its own bathroom if that is something that is important. Other larger rooms do....More

As Western visitors we felt that this was more of a backpackers delight than a traditional Ryokan! The place was honestly the coldest lodging I have ever been to. The ryokan lady loomed out of the dim surroundings every time we came near the reception...More
