An absolute delight walking into the hotel and be surrounded by such friendly and helpful people. Everybody seemed to be so happy. On our tour through Japan, so far, we found the Japanese people to be very polite, friendly and helpful but The Hyatt Regency Kyoto hotel was the best. Check-in/out was a breeze. Room was neat, clean, quite spacious...

Just stayed one night at Deluxe Twin. They were very kids friendly, free extra bed and free breakfast for kids! I've never had kids free breakfast so it was quite surprising. Breakfast at The Grill was amazing. Superb pastures and super tender ham. Room has two larger twin and we can put two beds together into Hollywood Twins, family of...

Hotel and room are great. Close to the center of kyoto. And five minutes taci ride from the main station. Have a few temples by walking distance. The Japanese style room was amazing. The only thing I don't recommend is their Japanese restaurant. Very expensive and not an astonishing quality. I thibk you can get much bettwr options in town....

A Japanese version of Hyatt means a better version of it. Room service was super efficient , breakfast was great , the location was perfect and more importantly the politeness of the staff was the most impressive aspect of this hotel for me. Highly recommended. :)

The perfect hotel for a visit to this amazing city. Stylish, but so welcoming; contemporary but reflective of Japanese culture, we loved our room overlooking the zen garden. Location was quiet but offered easy access to sights and public transport. Bed great, bathroom excellent and the whole ambience was chilled. When we return to Kyoto - and we will given...

We had an amazing 4 night stay in Hyatt Kyoto in a room facing towards a garden. The hotel is very modern but still has a Japanese feel to it. Southern Higashiyama where the hotel is located is my favorite neighborhood in Kyoto. A 20 minutes walk gets you to Sannenzaka Ninenzaka that is a very nice walking district. Kiyomizu...

Husband and I stayed in Kyoto for just two nights and both of us wish we'd extended our stay in this extraordinary city. The hotel is approximately $12USD cab ride from the train station. Because we book on their website, we received $30 certificate that could be used on dinner. The dinner at Japanese restaurant in the basement was okay...

We had a wonderful 4 nights stay at the Hyatt Regency Kyoto. Everything was perfect. The room was perfect. Beautiful decorated with views of the garden. Bathroom perfect as well. We went a couple of nights to the bar and the service was excellent. Also, one day after more than a week in Japan, wanted to have a very simple...

Located literally steps from Sanjūsangen-dō temple--the temple of a thousand Buddhas, this hotel is five minutes from Gion by taxi--the historic center of Kyoto. In the summer heat the expansive lobby is cool and inviting, the staff polite and helpful, and the rooms comfortable. Yes, as another reviewer mentioned the rooms are on the smaller side, but, somehow, they seem...
