As I was thinking about this, I was considering how to score the hotel. I have to say, that for someone like me, the location wasn't very good as I really needed a taxi to go anywhere. A ride from the hotel to Nagano Station costs roughly about $15 USD. The nearest convenience store that I found was about a 15 minute walk, so it didn't seem so convenient. The room was nice, with the typical deep Japanese tub I had seen on a few occasions before. The internet in the room was really quite fast and easy to connect for wi-fi. The downside was that the bed was a little firmer than I normally like, which affected my sleep. The coin laundry, which I needed due to it being a long vacation, consisted of one washer and one dryer and was tucked in next to the front desk, but you had to ask to really find it as the door was closed. I think it is better as a place to lay your head for a night or two on business than to spend a few days as part of a vacation.…
