Hotel is new, so everything is fresh and clean, check in was easy and staff helpful. Room was clean and well equipped, apart from 2 tea bags per day, no coffee or milk. The room itself was the smallest room we’ve had in Japan but the bed and pillow were by far the best, and when you are doing 25k steps a day, a good nights sleep is a plus. The bed more than made up for room size, shower was also best, a real rainforest power shower, with plenty of hot water. Would recommend this hotel purely in bed comfort👍🏼👍🏼

Brand new hotel which is an annex of the Hanshin Osaka. Read good reviews online and had pretty high expectations, only to be disappointed upon arrival. Japanese in service lines are known to be polite and friendly, but the ones we met at check-in were so cold, the temperature could match that of the weather outside. Rooms are really small but standard for Japanese hotels. Up-sides: very clean, very new and housekeeping was absolutely amazing. Oh, and there’s complimentary laundry and ironing service so it made up for the cold service. However, it’s often a fight to get to the washing machine and dryer because there are irresponsible people who take advantage of this complimentary service. Lots of restaurants and bars just outside but very quiet in the hotel so the stay was relatively comfortable. Supermarket just round the corner, which we discovered one night after we managed to score two washing machines in a row. I hope that the next time I come back, the service has thawed and the staff are much warmer.

Hotel is in a good location not far from train station and is in a street with lively bars and restaurants and also a very good supermarket that provides tables and chairs where you can eat and drink items bought in the shop. The hotel room was immaculate with a wide comfortable bed and great facilities. Excellent power shower and tv which had Netflix and YouTube.

I recently stayed at Hotel Hanshin Annexe on Nov 9 for one night, returning again on Nov 14 for another 3 nights. Like many, I delighted in the hotel finding it aesthetically well-designed with a hard-to-beat location. As usual, the omotenashi accorded was impeccable and this is one of the reasons for my many repeated trips to Japan. Thus, I am compelled to inform the hotel management of the following unfortunate incident. My check-in on Nov 14 (Room 1104), was marred by a non-native front liner (who if I am not mistaken, is a Nepalese going by the name of Karuki). It is bewildering that while he could converse in English, he did not assist his Japanese co-workers (2 girls) who was checking me in and trying to communicate with me for my luggage to be ta-q-bin to Kansai Airport. The girls (who appeared to be more junior) had to refer to him for advice on the ta-q-bin. His advice was then conveyed by the girls to say that Hanshin Annexe could only ta-q-bin luggage to other places but NOT to Kansai Airport (?). Even when I insisted that this could not be right, I was told it was the hotel policy. All this while, Karuki who was not attending to anyone did not attempt to provide the correct information nor came to communicate with me in English even when it was obvious his co-workers were struggling to speak in English. There was obviously no teamwork from him at all. At that point of time, I knew I was not going anywhere with the matter and I left it at that. But, I know for a fact that the information given to me was not correct. The next morning, I approached the reception again and was attended by 3 lovely Japanese ladies Satomi-san, Kuniko-san and Kaho-san who NOT surprisingly told me that the hotel could send my luggage to Kansai Airport! Their only concern was that it was already Nov 15, and my flight was departing for Hongkong on Nov 17 at 09:25. They told me had I given them my luggage on Nov 14 then there would be no issue at all. They then called up Yamato Transport to check on the pick-up time. But by then, my Japanese business associate had called me to say that he was already on the way to Yamato office (which was just a mere a 5-min walk from the hotel) to arrange for my luggage delivery. The girls apologised to me profusely for having been misinformed by their co-worker. In a nutshell, I am taken aback that Karuki who is obviously employed for his English speaking skills so as to facilitate non-Japanese guests would firstly refuse to communicate with non-Japanese speaking guests and secondly, gave out wrong advice to his co-workers. It is fortunate that I am a returned visitor to Japan and have local contacts to assist me but what happens if I were a first-time visitor in Japan? As a Hankyu-Hanshin Daiichi Hotel member I will be returning to stay at the hotel but would hope to receive a better customer experience with the non-native front officer. Perhaps he needs to undergo more training to better equip him with more EQ and a better attitude to deal with foreign hotel guests? To Satomi-san, Kuniko-san and Kaho-san who are the epitome of Japanese omotenashi, おおきに and また会いましょう

its located in JR FUKUSHIMA, which is about 150 meters away from the JR train station. which is also very convenient to get to airport snd from the airport. There are lots of restaurants and bars in the nearby alleys. a small supermarket, 7-11 store. not bad for the location, The only downside is the room are extra small, for 2 persons and some large luggage , it is hard to move around . but the room are nicely clean. but I also wish they can add more variant for their breakfast. and change their menu everyday.

The hotel is just next to the JR Fukushima station of the Osaka loop line. Once you exit from the station, turn right into the street next to the station, walk straight, past by a 7 Eleven shop and some restaurants and you will see the hotel. The hotel has three washing machines whereby you can use for free. And you can check when your laundry is ready for collection from the TV in your hotel room.

Kudos to the designer who put the rooms together. Everything was well thought of. For a small room, you had enough wardrobe space, the bathroom was not claustrophobic, and there were lots of USB outlets to charge all the things we have become surgically attached to! TV was a plus --- you can mirror it with your phone, so Netflix and Youtube available, a relief from all Japanese TV and CNN! Wifi is good and secured with password. The beds were great; and designed so you can store your luggage under it. I think there's a self service laundry room and on each floor, there is a vending machine and ice maker. Like I said, very well designed! Outside, you have a variety of restaurants and bars. We found Kitchen and Market, which is a supermarket a hundred metres away. What a find! Buy your good quality food and drink and eat in-store on provided tables and chairs, at a portion of the price in the restaurant! You can even cook meats on their hibachi. Fukushima train station is a 3 minute walk away and is on the JR Loop line which will take you to the castle and to downtown. And there are airport-bound trains (about 1 hour) direct from the station.

A Very Morden Hotel The Hotel is located very close to the Osaka Loop line. The hotel has a well stocked breakfast (not included), with a decent selection of breakfast food. The room itself is very nice and well put together, with numerous outlets, and a bathtub I can fit in. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Some downsides the bed was a bit hard for me, my friend said it was fine. I recommend staying here, especially if you are traveling and have a JR pass.
