A Capsule Inn is a must do in Japan. It is a great experience, but one must not be claustrophobic because the capsules are small. This particular Capsule Inn was a man only and consisted of five floors. The first one had a public bath with swimming pool, sauna and massage parlor. A restaurant was located on the second floor....

Staying at a capsule hotel was on my bucket list so now I can cross it off. Checking in was relatively easy provided you know what to do. First, you remove your shoes before you head to the check-in counter. The staff will ask you if you have any tattoos on your body and then they will proceed with the...

I was a bit apprehensive about staying in a capsule hotel as I expected some kind of hostel with capsules instead of dormitories. However it was an experience that I wanted to have as part of a trip to Japan so I booked in for one night at this hotel. And what an experience it was! The hotel is well...

This is the place for anyone looking to experience a true capsule hotel. Unlike others that are primarily tourist-focused, Capsule Inn is used almost exclusively by Osaka's business men and women, which is reflected in the layout and décor of the hotel - functional rather than pleasing to the eyes. The hotel has a worn, early 90s feel to it....

As I can compare to a previous Capsule Hotel located in Dotonbori, Osaka, capsules here are not the most confortable. It's a little bit noisy (you can hear clearly the other guests talking, watching movies) but clean. The hotel is quite small and in my opinion it suffers from a lack of resting areas, where guests could stay and be...

This was my first ever time staying in a capsule hotel. The service from the staff at check-in was brilliant and the man explained everything to me and made things seem simple. The capsule itself was a lot more spacious than what I was expecting and was very comfortable. I had no problems at all and I even tried the...

Stayed here for one night in Osaka when I landed so I could get a taste of Japan and it didn't let down. The capsule itself was more roomy than I thought, and it had a great restaurant and spa. It also had a massage area which was great. The only bad thing is there's no proper shower area, and...

I decided to stay here because I arrived to KIX in the evening and just one night. I knew that the place for sleeping was a kind of capsule which was OK for me who was not big or tall. Walking to the hotel from Umeda station was properly far and difficult especially the area near the hotel that there...

Must try! The hotel is located near the Osaka train station and smack in the middle of an entertainment district where you can find tons of restaurants, karaoke bar, pachinko halls, etc. The facility was a mix bag. The reception area was bright and modern. The locker area looks older and worn. The sitting/lounge area looks very old. The capsule...

When we book this accommodation we were a little dubious about what we would find but we thought it was only for one night and after all we were doing it for the experience not the comfort factor. The capsule itself was comfortable for the most part however they had terrible pillows. During the night we were awoken a number...
